[GSETS2025] KEYNOTE SPEAKER: ASSOC. PROF. RITESH CHUGH

🎤 The GSETS2025 Organizing Committee would like to introduce the seventh keynote speaker: Assoc. Prof. Ritesh Chugh (Central Queensland University, Australia).

👉 Chugh is an Associate Professor in Information and Communication Technologies in the School of Engineering and Technology. As an award-winning educationist and researcher with many years of rich experience, he has contributed to varied pedagogical and research outcomes.

💡His research as an information systems socio-technological expert focuses on the social role of emerging information systems and their influence on humans and organisations in real-world settings. He takes an inter-disciplinary approach in research under the overarching theme of information systems, including socio-technical aspects of systems management, social media, knowledge management, project management, educational systems, and technology-enhanced learning. He has written widely in these areas, with his research published in several leading academic journals.

👏 Chugh is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA), which further acknowledges his sustained effectiveness and academic leadership in higher education learning and teaching. He is also a senior member of IEEE and the Australian Computer Society. He holds membership of IEEE Computer Society and the IEEE Green ICT Community. He was also the chair of the Melbourne Campus Sustainability Committee which focused on environmental sustainability awareness, periodic sustainability initiatives, opportunities for new ideas and teaching real-world relevance of sustainability in class.

[GSETS2025] KEYNOTE SPEAKER: PROF. KIM JAE-HYUN

🎤 The GSETS2025 Organizing Committee would like to introduce the sixth keynote speaker: Prof. Kim Jae-hyun (Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science and Technology, Republic of Korea).

🎓 Kim completed his doctorate in Materials Science and Engineering at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) in 2003. He joined LG Philips LCD as a senior research engineer, where he directed the design and process development of TFT-LCD TV panels from 2003 to 2005. In 2005, he moved to the Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science and Technology (DGIST) and is currently a principal researcher in the Division of Energy & Environmental Technology and a professor in Energy Science & Engineering.

💡Kim led the research on the Solar Thermal Unified Device project as the project leader. He has published many notable papers in the fields of solar cells, graphene quantum dots, hybrid photovoltaics, Li-ion batteries, and solid-state electrolytes. His recent research focuses on composite polymer solid-state electrolytes for Li-ion batteries. He is serving as the Chief Vice President of the Korea Photovoltaic Society (KPVS) in 2024 and also the Vice President of the Materials Research Society of Korea.

🎤 The GSETS2025 Organizing Committee would like to introduce the fifth keynote speaker: Prof. Lee Jae-hong (Sejong University, Republic of Korea).

🎓 Lee received his PhD in Engineering Mechanics, Virginia Tech, USA. His research interests include Computational Mechanics, Structural Optimization and Deep Learning.

📖 Lee is the author of over 200 SCI journal papers on computational mechanics, composite and FG materials, spatial structures, and applied mathematics. He also received Presidential Young Investigator Award for his outstanding research in 2004. He was in Top 100 National Research Project in 2017 by Ministry of Science and ICT.

GSETS 2025: INTERNATIONAL SCIENCE FORUM DRAWS EXPERTS FROM 12 COUNTRIES
Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam – The 2nd International Conference on Green Solutions and Emerging Technologies for Sustainability (GSETS 2025), hosted by HUTECH and Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR) at HCMC during its 30th anniversary year, has once again solidified its reputation as a prestigious event. The event connects leading national and international scientists to drive innovation and promote sustainable development.

This year's conference brought together nearly 300 researchers, and experts from 12 countries to address the pressing challenges of sustainable development. Hội nghị Khoa học Quốc tế “Các giải pháp xanh và công nghệ mới nổi cho sự phát triển bền vững” (GSETS 2025) - lần thứ 2 do HUTECH và Trung tâm Cách mạng Công nghiệp Lần thứ 4 (C4IR) tại TP.HCM tổ chức vào đúng dịp HUTECH kỷ niệm 30 năm Thành lập, tiếp tục khẳng định vị thế của một diễn đàn học thuật uy tín, kết nối các nhà khoa học hàng đầu trong nước và quốc tế nhằm thúc đẩy đổi mới sáng tạo, hướng đến phát triển bền vững.

Hội nghị năm nay thu hút khoảng 300 khách mời, quy tụ các nhà nghiên cứu, chuyên gia và nhà quản lý đến từ 12 quốc gia trên thế giới.
