♥️ We love field-tripping with our kindergartners!

The children at Saigon Montessori went on their second and final field trip of the year 2022, this time to the Hcmc Fine Art Museum 🖼️

As part of this program, children learn about various artist and study their works, engage in deep investigation, close looking, drawing exercises, and more.

This trip is a great opportunity for our children to foster a deep appreciation for the art and culture, higher level of tolerance and historical empathy, stronger critical thinking through art and increased interest in frequenting art museums in the future.

🔥 Fire Drill: Practice to stay safe and be prepared 🔥

Today we had an all-school Fire Drill. We are proud to announce all went smoothly and everyone made it out in a timely manner demonstrating beautiful lines and calm bodies. What else can we expect from our wonderful Montessori students!?

Saigon Montessori strives to practice and implement safety measures. Practicing fire drills is one way we do this.

Most children simply don’t enjoy reading from a textbook, copying notes, or “learning” through rote memorization. Experiences and hands-on activities, however, will spark a child’s interest and imagination.

Restore balance. Most kids have technology, school and extracurricular activities covered. It’s time to add a sprinkle of sunshine and a big handful of outdoor play.

Every child dreams about an amazing Tết Trung Thu with his/her own brightly lit lantern and a belly full of mooncakes. Tết Trung Thu or Mid-autumn festival, is also known in Vietnam as the “Children’s Festival”. The festival will be held in the middle of the eight lunar month, however the preparations begin far in advance.

This year, Saigon Montessori will be celebrating this festival on “Friday, September 9, 2022”. Stay tune to our page for more exciting activities.

Welcome Back to the 2022-2023 School Year

Dear SMIK Families,

The first day of school is a special time filled with excitement and anticipation for our students, but also is filled with a little bit of anxiousness about trying new things or making new friends. But no worries, we always here to make sure your child will do great!

We are offering tours again for new parents starting from 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟭𝟱𝘁𝗵, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟮

There will be two tours every day: one at 10am and one at 3:30pm (with appointment only). We will be limiting the number of individual families who can visit at one time to just two for each tour.

Tours will be undertaken with individual families and led by a member of our admissions team

It is a good idea to bring your child with you so that they get a chance to have a look around as well.

Saigon Montessori Kindergarten students took a field trip to Pizza 4P's Phu My Hung to get a hands-on experience on how to make pizza. This was a very fun and exciting activity and all the children were enjoying both the cooking and the tasting parts of the field trip.
