SPEAKING 2 – PLAN CORRECTLY

One mistake many candidates make with planning in part 2 is focusing too much on ideas. Remember you are talking about something about you or your country and the topic card already shows the structure of your talk so you don’t need to focus too much on this. For most Vietnamese learners, this is what they should be focusing on in their plans and usually where they perform badly. (in order of most important to least)

VOCAB -> LINKING -> GRAMMAR -> IDEAS

Remember, you are not marked on your quality of idea, just how you use English to express them!

IPN recommends taking your IELTS exam with IDP Vietnam.

1. Workshop times are fixed. Each workshop will focus on one key main area and due to limited time, questions outside the topic will generally not be accepted. IPN will not start a workshop until there are enough participants.
2. 1-1 Sessions time are not fixed and are dependent on the IELTS expert. Please register as many available slots as possible.

Lưu ý:
1. Thời gian các buổi luyện tập là cố định. Mỗi buổi sẽ chỉ nói về một phần kĩ năng và các câu hỏi nằm ngoài chủ đề sẽ không được giải đáp. IPN sẽ không tổ chức các buổi luyện tập nếu không có đủ số lượng người đăng ký.
2. Thời gian các buổi thực hành 1-1 với chuyên gia IELTS không cố định. Khung thời gian sẽ phụ thuộc vào chuyên gia. Vì vậy hãy đăng kí nhiều khung giờ với IPN để chọn được khung giờ phù hợp nhất.

Giới thiệu về chuyên gia IELTS:

Thầy Ross Stewart hiện đã có hơn 12 năm kinh nghiệm giảng dạy tiếng Anh tại Việt Nam và là một trong các chuyên gia IELTS. Thầy đã từng dạy tại rất nhiều các trường học hàng đầu tại TPHCM, Hà Nội và Vũng Tàu và từng là Trưởng bộ phận Học vụ tại một trường luyện thi IELTS.
