🌼🧧 Les vacances du Têt ont démarré aujourd’hui vendredi 20 inclus au lundi 30 janvier inclus.
Pour le dernier jour d’école, les élèves de Saint Ange ont revêtu l’habit traditionnel Vietnamien Ao Dai et ont participé à différents ateliers de créations autour du Tết : lanternes, enveloppes, dragons, mini-AoDai, décorations et danse. Le déjeuner s’est traditionnellement tenu dans la cour à la grande joie des enfants.

🌼🧧 Thời gian nghỉ bắt đầu từ hôm nay, từ thứ Sáu ngày 20 đến hết thứ Hai ngày 30 tháng Giêng.
Hôm qua, các học sinh của Saint Ange đã mặc trang phục áo dài truyền thống của Việt Nam và tham gia các workshop sáng tạo khác nhau về Tết: đèn lồng, phong bao lì xì, rồng, mini, trang trí và khiêu vũ. Bữa trưa được tổ chức trong sân trước niềm vui lớn của trẻ em.

🌼🧧 The Tet holidays start today from Friday 20th to Monday 30th January inclusive.
For the last day of school, the students of Saint Ange dressed in the traditional Vietnamese Ao Dai costume and took part in various creative workshops around Tết: lanterns, envelopes, dragons, mini-AoDai, decorations and dance. Lunch was traditionally held in the courtyard to the great joy of the children.

🤝 💝 The CE2 (3rd grade) pupils visited the children of the Go Vap orphanage for Christmas, bringing them gifts and basic necessities collected from the parents of Saint Ange.
"During this morning, we distributed the gifts, sang together, played games, shared a snack, then we visited the orphanage and greeted the children or babies who could not come down.
We made a canvas print tree together to give them as a souvenir of this morning", said the children in their message of thanks to the parents.
🛍 🧸🧼 Indeed, thanks to the generosity of the Saint Ange family, the class was able to gather: 40 cuddly toys, 30 pairs of shoes, clothes, toys, but also nappies, baby bottles, 140 bricks of milk, toothpaste, soap....

🙌🎄🎈This beautiful action in the spirit of Christmas was carried out by Céline, CE2's Teacher, helped by Vien & Tam, her assistants, for the association "Un projet pour tous" and of course the orphanage Trung Tâm Nuôi Dưỡng Bảo Trợ Trẻ Em Gò Vấp (Go Vap center for cultivation and sponsorship).

Le Spectacle et la Fête de Noël ont réuni la grande famille Saint Ange Samedi dernier pour le plaisir des petits et des grands dans un esprit festif et chaleureux !
🤡 Après les traditionnels mais toujours attendus 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗱𝗲 𝗡𝗼𝗲̈𝗹 préparés en Français et en Anglais par les enfants, c’est bubble Man qui faisait le show devant des mini spectateurs émerveillés !
🍪 🥛Pour sa 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗱𝗲 𝗡𝗼𝗲̈𝗹, Saint Ange avait choisi de soutenir deux entreprises sociales de Saigon : La Boulangerie Française et Little Rose Bakery, en commandant leurs sablés décorés, cookies, brioches et pains d’épices. Le tout était accompagné de chocolat chaud et vin chaud (sans alcool) ! Un régal !
🏷 Ensuite, les 𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗱𝗲 𝗳𝗮𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 de Noël : boules, cartes de vœux et la fameuse Lettre au Père Noël ont battu le plein tandis qu’on allait se prendre en photo avec l’invité de marque : Le Père Noël !
🙏 Enfin, les CE2 avait fait appel à la générosité des parents de Saint Ange pour ramener des produits de premières nécessités et des jouets aux enfants de l’orphelinat de Go Vap qu’ils iront rencontrer cette semaine.

The Christmas Show and Party brought together the large Saint Ange family last Saturday for the pleasure of young and old in a festive and warm spirit!
🤡 After the traditional but always expected Christmas songs prepared in French and English by the children, it was bubble Man who did the show in front of the amazed mini spectators!
🍪 🥛For its Christmas snack, Saint Ange had chosen to support two social enterprises in Saigon: La Boulangerie Française and Little Rose Bakery, by ordering their decorated shortbread, cookies, brioches and gingerbread. All this was accompanied by hot chocolate and mulled wine (without alcohol)! A real treat!
🏷 Then, the Christmas making workshops: baubles, greeting cards and the famous Letter to Santa were in full swing while we went to take a picture with the guest of honour: Santa Claus!
🙏 Finally, the CE2 had appealed to the generosity of the parents of Saint Ange to bring back basic necessities and toys to the children of the Go Vap orphanage that they will meet this week. Go Vap Orphanage

🤝 Cette semaine, nous avons reçu la visite de Guillaume Cario, Coordinateur Délégué de la Direction Asie-Pacifique de l’AEFE*. Il découvrait pour la première fois notre établissement et était accompagné d’Anne-Laure Vincent, Attachée de Coopération pour le Français au Consulat de France et du proviseur du Lycée Français Jean-Hugues Mota.

🏫 Après une présentation de l’établissement par le directeur Samuel Robez et le Fondateur de l’école Frédéric Lefèvre, ainsi que la directrice pédagogique Jessica Carassus, M. Cario a visité les bâtiments maternelle et primaire puis s’est entretenu avec des enseignants de l’école. Il s'est également rendu à la nouvelle crèche et a pu discuté avec des parents d’élèves.

🤝 This week, we received the visit of Guillaume Cario, Delegate Coordinator of the Asia-Pacific Directorate of the AEFE*. He was discovering our school for the first time and was accompanied by Anne-Laure Vincent, Cooperation Attaché for French at the French Consulate and the principal of the Lycée Français Jean-Hugues Mota.

🏫 After a presentation of the school by the director Samuel Robez and the Founder of the school Frédéric Lefèvre, as well as the pedagogical director Jessica Carassus, Mr. Cario visited the kindergarten and primary buildings and met with teachers of the school, and then with parents of the students. He also visited the new nursery and had a chance to talk with parents of students.

🇫🇷 💭 Cérémonie de commémoration du 11 novembre 1918 au Consulat de France

En ce 11 novembre, les élèves de CM2 se sont rendus au Consulat général de France pour une cérémonie de souvenir afin de commémorer la fin de la première guerre mondiale (1914-1918).
📜 Deux élèves de Saint Ange ont lu un texte de l’ancien combattant Emile Morin. Des gerbes de fleurs ont également été déposées pour honorer les anciens combattants. 🎖

On this 11 November, the CM2 pupils went to the French Consulate General for a remembrance ceremony to commemorate the end of the First World War (1914-1918).
Two pupils read a text by the veteran Emile Morin. Wreaths were also laid to honour the veterans. 🎖

🖥 🌐 Since the beginning of the school year, interactive whiteboards (IWB) have been installed in primary classes at Saint Ange school! Equipped with touch screens and connected to the internet, these new generation boards make endless possibilities for teachers and students at Saint Ange school!

🗺 🔣 🧩 Project videos, do exercises with a tactile pencil on the board, fill in gap texts, build maps in geography, show animated experiments in science... etc. These modern tools offer the students of Saint Ange a dynamic environment conducive to learning.
✅ Children who are already comfortable with digital technology are stimulated and more attentive by the interactivity.
✅ These boards encourage students to participate, help with memory whether it is auditory, visual or tactile.

🖥 🌐 Depuis la rentrée, des tableaux Blancs Interactifs (TBI) équipent plusieurs classes de primaires de l’école Saint Ange ! Dotés d’écrans tactiles et reliés à internet, ces tableaux de nouvelle génération rendent les possibilités infinies pour les enseignants et les élèves de Saint Ange !

🗺 🔣 🧩 Projeter des vidéos, faire des exercices avec un crayon tactile au tableau, remplir des textes à trous, construire des cartes en géographie, montrer des expériences animées en sciences… etc. Ces outils modernes offrent aux élèves de Saint Ange un environnement dynamique et propice à l’apprentissage.
✅ Les enfants déjà à l’aise avec le digital, sont stimulés et plus attentifs par l’interactivité.

At Saint Ange, we took a little bit of advance for the last day before Automn break ! Children and teachers dressed up for the day while the school has been brilliantly decorated by the teachers assistants! Witches, ghosts and other monsters gathered for a morning snack and then for an outside lunch. The last day finished by a movie : ‘The Nightmare Before Christmas !’

𝗡𝗼𝘄 𝗶𝘁’𝘀 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝟮 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸𝘀 𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀. Well done to all pupils for achieving this first period of school! RDV Monday 7th of November at school and in shape!

A Saint Ange, nous avons pris un peu d'avance pour le dernier jour avant les vacances d'automne ! Enfants et enseignants se sont déguisés pour la journée alors que l'école a été superbement décorée par les assistantes ! Sorcières, fantômes et autres monstres se sont retrouvés pour un goûter le matin et ensuite pour un déjeuner à l'extérieur. La dernière journée s'est bien terminée par la projection du film : « L’étrange Noël de Monsieur Jack » !

🥖😋 Après l’édition 2021 à distance, la semaine du Goût a fait son grand retour à Saint Ange, de la crèche à l’élémentaire en passant par les maternelles ! Dégustations, confection de gâteaux, concours du goût, visite d’une boulangerie et d’un restaurant ! Les papilles de nos élèves ont été en émois pendant toute la semaine !

🍋🥕🍫 En Petite Section, ce sont des fruits et des légumes que les petits palais ont testé, la Moyenne Section est allée visiter la Boulangerie Française (cf post précédent), et la Grande Section a découvert le chocolat sous toutes ses facettes et ont réalisé des Roses des Sables !

🥣 🍪 En élémentaire, les CP ont eu la chance d’aller découvrir et déjeuner au restaurant Quince, les CE1 ont suivi la recette d’un gâteau marbré après une dégustation joyeuse. Après avoir interviewé un chef pâtissier, les CE2 ont confectionné des gâteaux sablés à l’école.
👅 Les CM1 devaient deviner des saveurs à l’aveugle, parfois déconcertantes !
🍳🏆Les CM2 avaient brillamment participé au concours du Goût.

🥖😋 Sau phiên bản năm 2021 tại nhà, Tuần lễ Hương vị "Semaine du Goût" sẽ trở lại lớn tại Saint Ange, từ mẫu giáo đến tiểu học và mẫu giáo! Bài tập về nhà, làm bánh, cuộc thi, ghé thăm tiệm bánh và nhà hàng! Vị giác của học sinh chúng tôi đã náo nhiệt cả tuần!

🍋🥕🍫 Trong PS, đó là trái cây và rau mà khẩu vị của trẻ em được thử nghiệm, MS đã đến thăm Boulangerie Française (xem bài trước), và GS đã phát hiện ra sô cô la ở mọi khía cạnh của nó và tạo ra Roses des Sables!

🥣 🍪 Ở trường tiểu học, CP đã có cơ hội khám phá và ăn trưa tại nhà hàng Quince, CE1 đã làm theo công thức của một chiếc bánh cẩm thạch sau một lần nếm thử vui vẻ. Sau khi phỏng vấn một đầu bếp bánh ngọt, CE2 đã làm bánh mì ngắn ở trường.
👅 CM1 phải đoán mùi vị một cách mù quáng, đôi khi khó hiểu!

👨🍳 🎊 𝗔 𝗧𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗳𝗹𝗮𝘃𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀!

🥖😋 After the 2021 edition from home, the " Semaine du Goût " Taste Week made its big comeback in Saint Ange, from the nursery to the elementary school and the kindergartens! Tastings, cake making, contest, visit of a bakery and a restaurant! Our students' taste buds were in a tizzy all week long!

🍋🥕🍫 In the PS, it was fruits and vegetables that the little palates tested, the MS went to visit the Boulangerie Française (see previous post), and the GS discovered chocolate in all its facets and made Roses des Sables!

🥣 🍪 In elementary, the CP had the chance to go discover and have lunch at the restaurant Quince, the CE1 followed the recipe of a marble cake after a joyful tasting. After interviewing a pastry chef, the CE2 made shortbread cakes at school.
👅 CM1 had to guess flavours blindly, sometimes baffling!
👩🍳🏆The CM2 had brilliantly participated in the Taste competition.

🥐 Visit of the Boulangerie Française by the MS ! 🥖

🍪🥣 For the week of taste the "Moyenne Section" (4 years old), had the chance to make cookies in the laboratory of La Boulangerie Française - HCMC !
After being welcomed by the apprentice bakers, our little budding pastry chefs helped to form the little balls that make the famous 3 chocolate cookies! Yummy! 😋
🍞👩‍🍳 While waiting for the baking, our little gourmets tasted the products of the house: croissants, chocolate bread, sandwich bread, traditional bread... Ding! It's ready! The cookies were also ready to be devoured!

👨‍🍳🤝🇻🇳 A big thank you to the "Boulangerie Française" for their warm welcome. The students present were from the 7th and 8th classes of the Pastry-Bakery training at Thu Duc Technical College. Some of them are about to do their internship in the big hotels of Vietnam. The Boulangerie Française is a social enterprise branch of the NGO European Institute for Cooperation and Development (IECD)!

🥐 Visite de la Boulangerie Française par les MS ! 🥖

🍪🥣 Pour la semaine du goût les Moyenne Section, ont eu la chance de confectionner des cookies dans le laboratoire de La Boulangerie Française HCMC !
Après avoir été accueillis par les apprenties boulangères, nos petits pâtissiers en herbe ont aidé à former les petites boules qui donnent les fameux cookies aux 3 chocolats ! Yummy !
🍞👩‍🍳 En attendant la cuisson, nos petits gourmets-gourmands ont dégusté les produits de la maison : croissants, pains au chocolat, pain de mie, pain tradition… Ding ! C’est prêt ! Les cookies étaient eux aussi prêts à être dévorer !

👨‍🍳🤝🇻🇳 Un grand merci à la Boulangerie Française pour son accueil chaleureux. Les étudiantes présentes étaient issues des 7ème et 8ème promotion de la formation en Pâtisserie-Boulangerie au sein du collège technique de Thu Duc. Certains d’entre eux s’apprêtent à effectuer leur stage dans les grands hôtels du Vietnam. La Boulangerie Française est une entreprise sociale branche de l’ONG IECD - MSE Việt Nam (Institut Européen de Coopération et de Développement)
