CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR PYP GRADUATION, YEAR 6!

Congratulations to the Year 6 students on graduating from the IB Primary Years Programme. This milestone marks the culmination of years of learning, growth, and perseverance throughout Primary school, from their earliest days as curious young learners to the confident and capable individuals they have become today. Along the way, they have built close-knit friendships, supported one another through challenges, and learned valuable lessons from both their successes and mistakes.

Throughout the year, the students demonstrated increasing independence in their learning, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to step outside of their comfort zones to try new things. Their supportive and caring nature helped create a positive community where students encouraged one another to grow both academically and personally.

As they move forward into Secondary school, the Year 6 students should be proud of all they have achieved throughout their Primary Years Programme journey. The knowledge, skills, values, and experiences they have gained during their years in Primary school will serve as the foundation for their future success. THAT'S A WRAP!

Today marks the official end of the 2025–2026 school year, and what a wonderful year it has been for our Renaissance community. Primary and Secondary students closed out the academic year with a final assembly filled with well-deserved recognitions, entertaining performances, and sweet goodbyes. We are so incredibly proud of all the learning, growth, and milestones our students have achieved.

RENAISSANCE SPORTS AWARDS 25-26

Last week, we came together to celebrate a fantastic year of sport at Renaissance.

The Sports Awards recognised the commitment, teamwork, progress and achievements of our student-athletes across Primary and Secondary sport. From weekly training sessions and competitive fixtures to city championships, tournaments and FOBISIA representation, our students have shown great pride in representing Renaissance.

This year has also seen continued growth and improvement across the programme, with more competitive opportunities, stronger team performances, and outstanding progress from many of our student-athletes. Highlights included city championship success, improved results across several teams, increased match opportunities, and excellent examples of our R.O.A.R values in action.

A huge congratulations to all award winners, nominees, teams, coaches and students who represented Renaissance this year. Thank you also to our families and staff for their continued support of school sport.

STEM EXHIBITION - A SHOWCASE OF INNOVATION AND CREATIVITY

The STEM Exhibition was a fantastic celebration of student creativity, problem-solving, and technical skill across the school community.

Throughout the afternoon, students shared projects ranging from a Year 2 water filtration project to Year 7 air-powered cars, alongside displays from Computer Science, Design, and the Makerspace. We were also proud to showcase the work of a former student, who returned to share a self-built Bluetooth speaker project.

The event highlighted not only the wide range of STEM experiences across different year levels, but also the confidence students developed through presenting, discussing, and peer-reviewing their work.

Thank you to all of our amazing students, staff, and visitors who helped make the exhibition such a positive and engaging event.

'THE DECADE PAST" - A SPARKLING SECONDARY PROM

On the evening of June 12th, over 140 Secondary students came together for an unforgettable celebration at The Decade Past - our annual Secondary Prom.

Planned and organised entirely by the Student Council, with the dedication of Head of Creativity Thu, Head of Service Sunny, the support of CSAS members, Head Students Merc & Sejun, and many student volunteers, the event featured an exciting evening of music, dancing, games, photo opportunities, and memorable moments shared among friends.

This record-breaking Prom showcased the strong support every member of the Renaissance community has for each other, built by friendship and a mutual appreciation for our school’s culture of active engagement.

CLASSIC TALE "THE THREE PIGGY" PERFORMED BY OUR EYs & YEAR 1 STUDENTS

This year, our Early Years students had the special opportunity to perform their very own musical, The Three Piggy Opera! Students and teachers worked together in music classes to prepare songs, learn speaking parts, and bring their characters to life.

This musical retelling of the classic tale of The Three Little Pigs was a production designed just for our youngest learners to give them a chance to build confidence, develop performance skills, and truly shine on stage. We are so proud of our young performers and all they have accomplished. A big thank you to our EY music and classroom teachers who helped make the show a success!

STEP INTO THE WORLD OF PRIMARY MUSICAL "LET THE GAMES BEGIN"

Our Primary students did a fantastic job of performing "Let the Games Begin" this term! Throughout the term, students worked hard in their music classes learning songs, choreography, and staging. Our Drama Club ECA students also dedicated many hours to rehearsing dialogue, solos, and blocking, helping to bring the story and characters to life on stage.

We are incredibly proud of the confidence, commitment, and teamwork shown by all of our performers. A big thank you to our Primary music and classroom teachers and Drama Club leaders for the time, energy, and care they invested in this production to create such a memorable experience for our students.

AN EXCITING ACTIVITY FOR YEAR 6 TRANSITIONING TO SECONDARY SCHOOL

As part of their transition to secondary school, our Year 6 students recently took on a new challenge at the climbing wall in Crescent Mall.

The experience encouraged students to step outside their comfort zones, build confidence, support one another, and demonstrate the IB Learner Profile attribute of being Risk-Takers. Whether reaching the top of the wall or simply attempting a climb for the first time, every student showed courage, resilience, and determination.

It was wonderful to see students encouraging their peers, overcoming challenges, and celebrating each other's achievements throughout the day.

We are proud of the positive attitude and enthusiasm shown by all students and look forward to welcoming them into secondary school next year.
