A law student had a short conversation with a psychology student in a library.

“Do you mind if I sit beside you”?

The girl answered with a loud voice; “I DON’T WANT TO SPEND THE NIGHT WITH YOU!!!”

All the students in the library started staring at the law student and he was embarrassed.

After a couple of minutes, the girl walked quietly to his table and she told him “I study psychology and I know what a man is thinking, – I guess you felt embarrassed, right ?”

The law student responded with a loud voice : “10,000 USD JUST FOR ONE NIGHT! ? THAT’S TOO MUCH!!!”

And all the people in the library looked at the girl in shock and the law student whispered in her ears; “I study Law and I know how to make someone feel guilty”.

Vocabulary:
Do you mind + V-ing: bạn có phiền không?
Embarrassed: lúng túng, ngượng ngùng
Stare at: nhìm chằm chằm vào ai đó
Whisper: Thì thầm
Make sb feel: khiến ai đó cảm thấy..

1) Rất nhiều thích sống ở khu đô thị to lớn : Urban areas.
2) Họ cũng thích sống ở nơi bên cạnh tp : the vicinity
3) Xa xa đó là miền quê : rural areas
4) Tp có rất nhiều tòa nhà cao tầng : High-rise buildings
5)ở Tp nổi bật là cuộc sống nhanh: fast pace of life
6) Chất lượng sống khá tốt: good quality of life
7) Tuy nhiên mọi người hơi cách xa nhau: isolated

Transportation topic.

1) Giao thông hơi nặng người ta thường luồn lách qua các khoảng trống của các xe : wriggle through
2) có người ý thức kém : bad behavior
3) cắt đầu xe người khác: cut in
4) cảnh sát giao thông: traffic policeman
5) kêu tấp vô lề : pull over
6) cảnh sát kêu trình giấy lái xe : driving license
7)ko trình được thì hối lộ : bribe
8) cảnh sát dễ tính thì để bạn đi: let you go
9) bạn quay lại xe. Get back to your car
10)bạn nhảy lên xe máy: hop on,
11) vào ô tô là: get in
12) chào và vẫy tay với cảnh sát : say "bye" and wave your hand.

3) và giao thông có mật độ người tham gia ít : light traffic
4) tất cả phương tiện phải dừng ở đèn giao thông : traffic light
5) nếu băng qua đèn tín hiệu : run the red light
6) sẽ bị phạt get heavily fined
7) nên ai cũng cần tuân thủ giao thông : obey the traffic rules
