🎉 CONGRATULATIONS TO MSc. TRANG THUY THI PHAN AND THE RESEARCH TEAM 🎉
🥳 The Laboratory of Advanced Materials (AM-Lab) proudly congratulates MSc. Trang Thuy Thi Phan and the research team on the successful publication of their scientific article in Ceramics International (Q1-Top20, IF 6.0, Elsevier).
⚡ The study, titled "Preferred orientation-dependent thermoelectric properties of Sn-doped In₂O₃ thin films via sputtering time control," investigates how RF sputtering time influences the evolution of preferred crystallographic orientation and thermoelectric behavior of Sn-doped In₂O₃ (ITO) thin films. A clear transition toward the (400) orientation was observed at intermediate sputtering durations, improving structural quality, suppressing lattice defects, and enhancing carrier mobility.
⭐ Notably, the ITO-7 film (7-minute deposition) achieved the best thermoelectric performance, owing to a favorable balance between the Seebeck coefficient and electrical conductivity, yielding a maximum power factor of 168 μW.m⁻¹.K⁻² at 594 K. By combining texture analysis, Hall measurements, Raman spectroscopy, quantitative photoluminescence, and Pisarenko analysis, the team provided deeper insight into the carrier transport mechanisms of sputtered ITO films.
🌟 This achievement reflects the team's ongoing dedication to defect engineering and p-type/n-type oxide thermoelectric materials, contributing to waste-heat recovery solutions, improved energy efficiency, and sustainable energy technologies.
🎊 Congratulations once again to MSc. Trang Thuy Thi Phan and all co-authors! We wish the research team continued success in their future scientific endeavors.
🌟 AM-Lab remains committed to advancing and sharing high-quality research with the scientific community, both domestically and internationally.
