Vietnam has always been a top favourite destination for teaching abroad and with so many great opportunities to choose from and the awsome places so close together it is the best option to teach English abroad. But, with its mixture of laid-back teaching environment, high demand for English teachers, and low cost of living Vietnam has become of the favourite place for ESL teachers.
Things to consider before arriving in Vietnam
You Can Visit and look for a Job
You can come here without a job and look for better opportunities to apply and live in Vietnam. There a lot of opportunities and options to look after. However, if this is your first teaching abroad position, as it was mine, then you may be a little less confident in going without work.
Firstly, it would help to fresh your mind with the beautiful places in Vietnam that help to reconnect with nature and help you transition abroad. Also, depending on the job, they may pick you up from the airport, making the move abroad smoother too. However, it is rare a Vietnamese employer will pay your airfare, so you should look after that expense from your side from the home country.
Beautiful Culture
If you have the enthusiasm and the savings, then you may want to wing it and look for work on arrival. This option is great because the work is readily available, so, if you’re qualified, there should be work in place. You can stay alone at an affordable price at different locations to look after the Job.
So come and be a part of the Beautiful environment here in Vietnam. We at AVI TESOL bring the best out for you.
