Our France Discovery Holiday Camp was an absolute blast! From exploring French fables to channeling their inner artists in our "Art à la Française" workshop, our students had an amazing time. 🤩

🌟 Wrapping up an incredible Taste Week at La Petite Ecole! 🍴

From testing their culinary skills to discovering a world of flavors, it was a week packed with foodie adventures for all our students! 🍳

Our CM2 students had a blast competing in the Taste Contest alongside their peers from other primary schools 🏆 Under the guidance of talented chefs, our students immersed themselves in the art of crafting chocolate, exploring diverse tastes, and even turning recipes into math problems. 📐✏️ And guess what? One of our team clinched a top prize! 🌟 We couldn't be prouder of them and of all the students who participated!

But that's not all! Throughout the week, our students from Early Years and Elementary school engaged in various food-related activities, from cooking banh mi or pizza to crafting pasta from scratch. They learned about the fascinating process of food transformation and even got hands-on with pasta machines. 🥖🍝

In addition, our little food enthusiasts explored the world of taste, identifying the 4 key flavors: sweet, salty, sour, and bitter. 🍋

Some classes also had the chance to embark on flavorful journeys, including a visit to Marou Chocolate to unravel the secrets of chocolate-making. 🍫

Today, this is our last book recommendation by our librarian Thanh-Vân as the back-to-school period is coming closer 🤩

Today, our recommendation is illustrated 100% locally: La Belle au bois dormant, by Charles Perrault, illustrated by Khoa Le, published by NuiNui. ✨👸🏻

You're probably familiar with this traditional tale in which a young girl stung by a spindle falls asleep for a hundred years. The curse can only be lifted by the arrival of a prince who wakes her up and the whole country that has fallen asleep with her. The originality of this large, beautiful album lies in the refined, graceful illustrations by Vietnamese illustrator Khoa Le. Her magnificent illustrations, printed on silver leaf, are a real immersion in the wonderful world of the tale. For ages 8 and up. 🙌

On the last day of school, La Petite Ecole organized a charitable and fun event for all the kids, parents & teachers at La Petite Ecole 🙌 Each person was encouraged to donate a clothe to support underprivileged families in the South of Vietnam with the help of Mekong Plus association 💪💯 It was an incredible day full of memories for the kids you were keen to be able to participate in a caritative action all together!

Last week, La Petite Ecole delivered all the clothing donations to the Mekong Plus association: in total, it was almost 10 full boxes that the members of La Petite Ecole community donated 👏👏 Thank you very much again for their participation and thank you to Mekong Plus for their constant work to help underprivileged families in Vietnam!🙏

Excellent news for La Petite Ecole Ho-Chi-Minh! ✨

The CM1 & CM2 levels of La Petite Ecole Ho Chi Minh (Grade 4 & Grade 5) have obtained official accredidation by the French Ministry of Education. 🥳

It means that now, all levels of primary school at La Petite Ecole (PS to CM2, meaning Early Year school to Grade 5) guarantee access to primary or secondary schools in the AEFE network (the Agency for French Education Abroad) like the French Lycée Marguerite Duras without passing any admission tests! 💯

This recognition is the result of our ongoing commitment to educational excellence and our dedication to the well-being and academic success of each student. 🙌

A wild expedition to discover nature ! 🌿

Last week, our CM1 and CM2 (Grade 4 & Grade 5) students went on a school trip to Cat Tien National Park. In association with the Ta Lai Adventure organization, the aim of this outing was to reconnect the students with nature ⛰️, discover the different ethnic minorities of this region 👩‍🌾 and develop key life skills by doing adventurous activities like bamboo rafting, jungle treck or kayaking ! 🛶

Our students really enjoyed the experience and made memories that will last a lifetime! 🎉💯

It was also a real pleasure for La Petite Ecole to organize such school trip : La Petite Ecole is committed to offering its students the opportunity to experience new and culturally enriching experiences outside of school, but always surrounded by our caring community. 🙌

Arthus, Raphael and Minh Anh recommend this book !
The dog man chases the thieves but always get hypnotised by the ball, so little Petey has an idea. They made some cards that they showed to Dog man. He needs to concentrate or he will take a bath (he hates baths). There is also 80-HD, he is the robot and also the friend of little Petey and Dog man, they go on a mission to stop some burgle balls.

💬 You should read this book because it is funny, suspenseful and full of action . There is the main character (Dog Man), the criminal (Petey the cat), the friendly character (little Petey). In my opinion, I love this book because Dog Man is an action book but what I like in it how it drawn and the writing is long and detailed . I recommend this book .
