👉 Our Electrical Engineering program recently participated in a pivotal conference hosted by Phenikaa University in Hanoi, focused on shaping the future of semiconductor engineering in Vietnam. The conference highlighted Vietnam's ambitious goal of training 50,000 semiconductor engineers by 2030—a crucial step towards our nation's integration into the global semiconductor supply chain.

👉 We are proud to share that VGU's Electrical Engineering programs are closely aligned with this initiative, working hand-in-hand with industry leaders like Synopsys Group. Over the past four years, VGU has forged a strong partnership with Synopsys in IC Design, paving the way for advanced training and collaboration.

👉 Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha emphasized Vietnam's potential as a strategic hub in this vital industry and emphasized the importance of international standards in human resource development. The conference discussed strategies for achieving the ambitious training target and explored avenues for industry-academic partnerships.

👉 Phenikaa Group and its partners, including Synopsys and Arizona State University, announced strategic cooperation agreements aimed at fostering high-quality semiconductor talent. Additionally, the launch of the semiconductor research and human resources training alliance signifies a collaborative effort towards nurturing skilled professionals for the semiconductor market.

👉 On April 9, 2024, the Vietnamese-German University (VGU) hosted the German Ambassador to Vietnam, symbolizing the robust educational partnership between the two nations. The Ambassador's thorough tour included evaluations of VGU's facilities and academic endeavors, as well as productive dialogues with the faculty, underscoring Germany's commitment to educational collaboration with Vietnam.

👉 VGU's leadership and faculty, including German professors, engaged in discussions with the Ambassador, reflecting on the university's academic and research programs and the pivotal role of German academic contributions. The Ambassador's gift of a Buddy bear, created by artist Chu Thuy Quynh, commemorated 45 years of Vietnam-Germany relations and was presented to VGU's new campus. 🎁

👉 The visit culminated with VGU's acknowledgment of the honor and affirmation of the strong academic ties between the countries. It also provided a platform for showcasing VGU's progress and potential for further cooperation.
