Field trips give our children first-hand experiences that broaden and deepen their knowledge about the world around them. Field trips—around our Phu My Hung neighborhood and around other parts of HCMC—provide rich opportunities for developing children's oral language and vocabulary, and they bring excitement and delight to our days! 🌟

A visit to Bitexco Financial Tower sparked our wonder and curiosity about bridges! From the 49th floor and with a 360 degree view, we were able to see the incredible vastness of Ho Chi Minh City, including several large bridges spanning the Saigon River.
Back in our Phu My Hung neighborhood, we took a field trip to Crescent Park where we walked across the Cầu Ánh Sao ("Starlight Bridge"). We observed the shapes and structures of this bridge, talked about its function as a pedestrian walkway, then sat in the park to draw the bridge. Art is even more fun when done outdoors!
To expand on our observation of bridges, we began experimenting with bridge-building in class, and we learned to identify different types of bridges. In STEM class we looked at arch, suspension, and beam bridges and experimented with different shapes used in bridge construction. Do you know which shape of folded paper was able to hold up the most stones?
In Art class we illustrated our favorite bridges using pencil, black line markers, and watercolors. Can you spot an arch bridge, beam bridge, and suspension bridge?
Our Kinder Kids are passionate about building! Whether it’s a tower that might be taller than them, or a house for toy animals and people to live inside, or a castle or restaurant that they sit inside and use as a setting to act out detailed pretend play - every day our children are creating amazing structures! 🏦🛕🏙
Inspired by the children’s interest in buildings, our teachers worked together to develop a unit of inquiry to spark conversations and ideas about this rich topic. An observational walk around the Phu My Hung community and a visit to the Bitexco Tower deepened the children's curiosity about human-made structures, leading to further inquiry and play in the classroom. ✨
🌷 WEE PLAY 2022 🌷
We warmly invite toddlers and their parents/carers to join us for fun afternoons at our lovely preschool campus in D7. Wee Play is a parent-child playgroup designed for children 12-24 months old who love to move around and explore new surroundings 🥰
Children and their grownups are encouraged to play, dance, sing, paint, build, read, and have fun together in a relaxed environment. There are indoor and outdoor areas to explore, so many books and toys, and of course lots of new friends to meet!
Though sessions are facilitated by KCS teaching staff, the aim of Wee Play is to provide an open-ended child-led experience for toddlers to explore freely and for parents to observe & follow their children as they engage with the environment.

🌈 SUMMER 2022 @ Kids Club Saigon
Summer is just around the corner! Kids Club Saigon is excited to offer a fun-filled summer program for children ages 3-7 from July 4th through August 26th.
🌻 There is a different theme and field trip each week, so children can join up to 8 weeks of summer fun! Families can choose half days (8:30-11:30 AM) or full days (8:30 AM-3:30 PM).
🌳 Led by our caring and experienced teaching team, the summer program will be offered at our beautiful campus in Phu My Hung (12/4 P Street, My Tu 2, across from Garden Plaza 1).
🖍 The KCS Summer 2022 program offers weekly field trips, project-based learning, creative art, sensory play, science, sports, and literacy activities within a joyful & active English-speaking environment. The focus is on FUN and FRIENDSHIP while fostering important skills and mindsets for life.
⚽️ This summer we are so excited to partner with the amazing coaches at Saigon Ghosts Soccer Club to offer weekly sessions of sports and fitness at a D7 soccer field.
🚌 The children will go on a field trip each week to experience hands-on learning in exciting new environments!
Families can enroll by the week according to the following schedule and topics:
