Blankets on the lawn, popcorn in hand, and "Daddy Day Care" under the open sky.

Our Primary students and families gathered for an evening movie night: hanging around together, laughing at all the right moments, and just enjoying each other's company beneath the stars.

These are the moments that make a school feel like a community. Here's to more nights like this.

So many hugs. So much laughter. So many happy tears. And so much pride in every single moment.

From the first clap out at Primary Campus to the final walk at Secondary, our Class of 2026 spent their last day of school surrounded by the warmth of people who have walked this journey with them. Friends. Teachers. Staff. Parents. Siblings. A whole community showing up to say: we’re so proud of you and we’ll miss you.

Class of 2026, you've done it. Your time at ISHCMC has shaped you into who you are, and who you're becoming. We can't wait to see how the future unfolds for you all.

To everyone who joined and made it so meaningful: thank you.

Nine weeks ago, some of them were not sure where to begin.

Last week, they stood in front of their whole community and showed exactly what they had built.

Our Grade 5 students presented their PYP Exhibition projects, the culmination of their Primary years and their first major undertaking in the IB curriculum. It started with a single question each group had to answer for themselves: what do we actually care about? From there, they researched, collaborated, took action, and showed up on the day with a confidence that was genuinely moving to witness.

This is what six years of Primary learning looks like when it all comes together.

Watch the video below to see our Grade 5 students in action.

Class of 2026, the moment you've been working toward is almost here.

Starting next week, our Grade 12 students will sit their official IB Diploma Programme exams, the final milestone of their journey at ISHCMC before embarking on their next adventure.

To every Grade 12 student: you’re so ready to tackle this final challenge. The years of work, the late nights, the moments you pushed through when it was hard, all of it has led to this.

Go show them what you've got. We're cheering for every single one of you!

Last week, our entire Grade 10 cohort took the stage for their Dance Showcase, and they owned every second of it.

Every seat in the theater was taken. Parents, students, and staff even sat on the floor to be a part of the cheer for this show.

From the first performance to the very last, everyone was hooked on that electric energy and confidence oozing out of every single student.

What made it even more special: this wasn't a group of trained dancers. This was the result of six weeks of hard work in their PHE class: developing choreography, learning new moves, and rehearsing until it all came together.

Watch the video to relive the energetic moments from the night.

Eight months. Real causes. Real impact.

Last week, our Grade 8 students presented their Community Projects, and what they brought to that room was remarkable.

Local restaurants. Animal shelters. Fellow ISHCMC students who needed support with mathematics. Every project was different. Every single one was driven by the same thing: a genuine desire to make something better in the world around them.

This is what service looks like at ISHCMC. Not a checkbox. Not an assignment. Eight months of fundraising, volunteering, raising awareness, and sitting with the question of what it actually means to contribute to a community you care about.

Watching our students stand up and lead with empathy was one of those moments that reminds you what education is really for. Congratulations to every Grade 8 student who took part!

Be kind to each other. It sounds simple. But our Grade 5 students, Julia, Katie, and James, made it their mission.

For their PYPx project, these three students took the theme of friendship and turned it into something real. They did their research, asked questions, pushed through challenges, worked closely together, and finally, built a series of initiatives to spread that one message across the whole Primary campus.

What they created was inspiring and powerful. But what it revealed about how deeply they care, and how far they'll go to act on it was even more so.

Watch the video to see our students in action.
