🏮 Mid-Autumn Festival is a time for celebrations and coming together at AHI.

This year, we asked our teachers and students to share their favourite parts of the celebration, from festive activities and treats to the traditions they look forward to each year. 🌕✨

With people from different backgrounds, Mid-Autumn Festival is celebrated in many different ways. These perspectives give us a chance to appreciate the diversity within our AHI community, while celebrating the traditions and moments that bring us together.

Watch as they share what they enjoy most about Mid-Autumn Festival! 🏮🌕

🏮 The spirit of Mid-Autumn Festival is in the air at AHI!

In the lead-up to this year’s celebration, our Primary students have been working together to decorate their own lanterns, while our Secondary students have been putting their creativity to work on lion and dragon heads for the traditional lion dances.

Beyond the fun of making things together, these activities have given our students a chance to explore a little more of the traditions and culture behind Mid-Autumn Festival.

Their creations will be on display at our Mid-Autumn celebration this Friday, so make sure you stop by and take a moment to see what they have made. 🌕🏮

And there is more to come! We’ll be sharing more of our Mid-Autumn activities soon, so stay tuned.

💬 The first Parent-Teacher Meeting of the academic year!

A chance for parents and teachers to share, listen, and exchange ideas - with many things to talk about as we get to know our children better. 🌱

Together, we can create the right support for each child to learn, grow, and make the most of this school year.

𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒊𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒃𝒆𝒔𝒕 𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒍 𝒅𝒂𝒚 𝒊𝒔 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒔 𝒂𝒇𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝒊𝒕?

📈 Following a 6.5% increase in parent satisfaction this past May regarding our extracurricular programmes — including After-School Activities (ASA) and Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) — AHI is taking our extracurricular offering even further.

🏀 We have grown our lineup from 30 clubs last year to 46 clubs this year, pairing 28 teacher-led activities with 18 specialist-led programmes from trusted partners like KDI Education, Học viện Giáo dục - Thể thao Hoa Kỳ ASA, Chess Plus Academy, CLB Patin Smile, Trung Tâm Đào Tạo Năng Khiếu Beestar, Australia Swim School VN, Unbox Wisdom - Board Game for Kids, Global Art Creative Viet Nam, Fox Football Vietnam and Gymkraft Vietnam.

🏫 With upgraded facilities — featuring refreshed pools, courts, and pitches — students across every age group are diving into what they love:

🔸𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘀, physical and creative activities lead the way, with Swimming, Gymnastics, Sport Fun and Art among the favourites.
🔸𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝟭-𝟰, interests are more diverse — from Lego, IXL Maths and Handwriting to Football and other sporting activities.
🔸𝗜𝗻 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝟱-𝟭𝟬, students show a stronger preference for sport, with Badminton, Football and Basketball together accounting for nearly 40% of their selections.

🌱 Because holistic education is about more than what happens in the classroom. It is about giving every student the space, choice and opportunity to discover what they love — and to keep growing.

From the Curriculum Workshops across Preschool, Primary and Secondary School, to the AHISPP Meetings and Meet & Greet sessions we’ve previously shared on our page, August has been a month filled with conversations about our students’ learning and school life.

It is reassuring to see so many parents taking the time to learn more, ask questions and actively engage in their child’s learning journey. At AHI, we value this ongoing dialogue between school and families and are always committed to creating more opportunities for open and meaningful conversations throughout the school year.

Thank you to all our parents for taking the time to join us throughout August. We look forward to welcoming even more of you to our upcoming sessions!

WELCOME, NEW AHI TEACHERS! ✨

It has been almost a month since our teachers first set foot on the AHI campus, but it is never too late to get to know them a little better and send them the warmest welcome from the entire AHI community.

Every year around this time, the streets of Vietnam are adorned with the proud red of the National Flag, bringing communities together to celebrate the nation’s spirit. This is also a time to honour the journey that has shaped the country and to look towards a promising future. 🕊️

As an international community that calls Vietnam home, AHI is delighted to join in celebrating this special occasion. Over the coming days, our fan page will be sharing photos of various activities celebrating National Day across our campuses.
