🎤 "Mic check, 1, 2... Is this thing on?!"

Last Tuesday at HAVEN Summer Camp 2026, our elementary campers didn’t just find their voices—they took center stage for our incredible "I Can Be a Linguist Too Day"!

Public speaking can be intimidating even for adults, but our brave young leaders stepped right up, held the microphone, and practiced what it takes to be a professional host and emcee! As seen in this reel, our learners tackled real, practical goals: defining the role of an emcee, practicing voice projection, writing their very own hosting scripts, and building the confidence to perform in front of their peers. 📝💪

But it wasn't just about speaking; it was about supporting one another! Because during this session ,they practiced a beautiful peer-feedback framework called "Two Stars and a Wish" ⭐️⭐️💫—learning how to praise their friends' strengths ("I loved how you...") and offer gentle, constructive tips for next time.

And what happens if they made a mistake? They learned the ultimate emcee secret: Pause, Smile, and Move On! 😊💨

Watch through the reel to see our future broadcasters, leaders, and change-makers in action! We are so incredibly proud of their courage and growth. 🏆

🏴‍☠️ UNLOCKED: The secret to making elementary math actually... FUN?!

This week at HAVEN Summer Camp, our campers turned into Fraction Explorers for our "Let the Math Wizard in Me Solve It" day! 🧙‍♂️🔢

🧩 Fraction Match-Up puzzles
🏃‍♂️ High-speed Fraction Comparison Races
🍕 Solving real-world Pizza Fraction dilemmas
🏁 Mind-bending Relay Races
✖️ Multiplying fractions like total pros!

The energy was at its peak, the teamwork was unmatched, and yes—the treasure chest was successfully raided! 💰🏆 Who knew fractions could cause this much hype?
