What We Do

Prager University is an online resource promoting knowledge and clarity.

We are not an accredited academic institution. And we don't want to be.

All our courses are free.

There are no fees, no tuition, books, homework assignments, or grueling midterms here - just clear, life-changing insights and ideas from world-renowned thinkers on subjects as diverse as political science, economics, history, philosophy, and psychology. There are also no long, boring, can't-keep-my-eyes-open lectures. All our courses are five minutes long. That's right, five minutes.

Our faculty gets right to the point. That point is supported by cutting edge, visually-compelling, entertaining images and animation. Just as a shot of espresso boosts your energy, a shot of Prager University boosts your brain. Because not only will you have more knowledge, you will have more clarity. You'll get one other thing, a true-value added component of a Prager University education – wisdom.

If you're ready to grow intellectually, we're ready for you.

AND HERE'S THE SCRIPT OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PART OF THE PLAY THE LITTLE PRINCE (edited by students at English House based on the story and the film)...introduce to all of you! enjoy it! JOIN US TO TAKE A ROLE!
CHAPTER XXI: THE LITTLE PRINCE AND THE FOX:
Reader: But it so happened that the little prince, having walked a long time through sand and rocks and snow, finally discovered a road. And all roads go to where there are people.
Prince: (walks through the blossoming rose garden) When she finds out there are millions of flowers that look just like her. It will break her heart.
Fox: (hides behind the tree) Good morning.
Prince: (looks around to look for the one who is talking and continues to talk to himself) I thought I was rich. I thought I had the most unique flower in all the world. But all I had was a common rose. A common rose and three volcanoes that came up to my knees. And one of them was extinct, at that! That doesn’t make me a very great prince, does it?
Fox (hides behind the tree and shows up his head) Good morning.
Prince: Good morning.
Fox: You’re a prince?
Prince: Yes.
Fox: I’m a fox.
Prince: I’m sad. Would you play with me?
Fox: (laugh) No.
Prince: Why not? It’ll be fun.
Fox: Where are the others?
Prince: (looks around) What others?
Fox: The other hunters.
Prince: There’s no one here but me. Please play with me. I won’t harm you.
Fox: Then why do you have a gun?
Prince: I don’t have a gun.
Fox: You must have. You’re a human being.
Prince: I’m from another planet.
Fox: Aren’t there guns on your planet?
Prince: No.
Fox: Really? Are there hunters on your planet?
Prince: No.
Fox: (curiously) Any chickens?
Prince: No.
Fox: (disappointed) Oh, well. Nothing’s perfect.
Prince: Let’s play hide-and seek.
Fox: I can’t play with you. I’m not tamed.
Prince: What do you mean, “tamed”? (walk closer)
Fox: (runs away and hides behind the tree)
Prince: Can’t you stay put? I’m getting dizzy!
Fox: Sorry, I just don’t wish to become extinct.
Prince: Do you wanna mean if I move, you will disappear again.
Fox: Of course.
Prince: Why?
Fox: You’re human beings. I’m a fox! I hunt chickens. You hunt foxes!
Prince: But I don’t.
Fox: You’re a human being and you also lie.
Prince: But I don’t lie.
Fox: Then you’re inhuman...To be tamed...Let me know before you move! (the fox orders the little prince) See if this will clear it up. Underneath the prince, you’re a little boy, just like millions of other boys. I’m a fox, just like millions of other foxes. But if you tame me, I won’t be like all the other foxes, and you won’t be like the other boys. I’ll be unique to you, and you’ll be unique to me. Do you understand?
Prince: Sort of.
(The prince moves and the fox disappears)
Prince: Where are you?
Fox: You moved!
Prince: I’m sorry. It won’t happen again.
Fox: (shows up) I have a very monotonous life. I hunt chickens. Men hunt me. They come, I hide, they leave, I come out. That’s all. But if you tamed me, everything would be different. Even the wheat fields.
Prince: The wheat fields?
Fox: Of course. I don’t like bread, so I don’t care about wheat. Wheat is the colour of gold, like your hair. So, if you tamed me, I’d start to care about wheat because it would remind me of you.
Prince: I’m going to sit down. (says and find a place to sit) What do I have to do?
Fox: Well, everyday, you’ll come and sit where you’re sitting now. You have to be very patient. First you’ll sit down a little ways away from me. I’ll watch you out of the corner of my eye, and you won’t say anything. Language is the source of misunderstanding. But day by day, you’ll be able to sit a little closer...
And one more thing, it would have been better to come at the same time. Now let’s say if you come at four in the afternoon. I’ll start to be happy by three . The closer it gets to four, the happier I’ll feel. By four I’ll be excited and worried; But if you came at any time, I’ll never know when I should prepare my heart...There must be rites.
Prince: What’s a rite?
Fox: That’s another thing that’s been too often neglected. It’s the fact that one day is different from the other days, one hour from the others. My hunter, for example, have a rite. They dance with the village girls on Thursdays. So Thursday’s a wonderful day: I can take a stroll all the way to the vineyards. If the hunters danced whenever they chose, the days would all be just alike, and I’d have no holiday at all.
Prince: But what would I do at four o’clock?
Fox: Nothing.
Prince: Nothing?
Fox: Of course, nothing. If you did anything, I’d get frightened and I wouldn’t come out.
Reader: That was how the little prince tamed the fox. But then, one day they had to say goodbye.
Fox: I think I’m going to cry.
Prince: I didn’t want to make you unhappy. But you asked me to tame you.
Fox: I know.
Prince: I haven’t done you much good, have I? It’s all been a waste of time.
Fox: No. Because I wasted so much time on me, you made me feel very important.
Prince: But now I feel sort of responsible for you.
Fox: I should have warned you that would happen. You always feel responsible for what you’ve tamed. Now go look at the roses again. You’ll understand that yours is the only rose in the world. Then come back to say goodbye, and I’ll make you the gift of a secret.
Prince: (talks to himself while walking through the rose garden) Oh, I understand everything. (talks to roses) You are lovely, but you’re empty. One couldn’t die for you. Of course, an ordinary passerby would think my rose looked just like you. But my rose, all on her own, is more important than all of you together, since she’s the one I’ve watered. Since she’s the one I put under glass. Since she the one I sheltered behind a screen. Since she’s the one I listened to when she complained, or when she boasted, or even sometimes when she said nothing at all. Since she’s my rose. And the fox, too. He wasn’t like all the other foxes in the world any more. I’d tamed him, and now he was unique, at least to me.
Prince: (comes back to the fox) Goodbye.
Fox: Goodbye (gives the prince a piece of paper) Here is my secret. It’s quite simple.
Prince: (opens the paper and reads) One sees clearly only with the heart. Anything essential is invisible to the eyes.
Fox: One only sees clearly with the heart. Anything essential is invisible to the eyes. It’s the time you spent on your rose that makes your rose so important.
Prince: It’s the time I spent on my rose (the little prince repeats, in order to remember.)
Fox: People have forgotten this truth, but you mustn’t forget it. You become responsible forever for what you’ve tamed. You’re responsible for the rose...”
Prince: I’m responsible for my rose...
