DYSLEXIA is REAL!!
People usually claim that it isn't true,
But dyslexia does exist and is one of the most common learning conditions in the Philippines.
According to The Yale Center for Dyslexia and creativity, Dyslexia affects 20 percent of the population and represents 80–90 percent of all those with learning disabilities.
Let's learn more about dyslexia this DYSLEXIA AWARENESS MONTH, and understand how we may support those who suffer from it.

This year, it's time to believe in YOU!
I just realized why I was never satisfied studying within the 4 corners of the classroom...
Always asking myself why I couldn't get better grades even when I tried.
Memorizing information all for the sake of passing tests,
Failing all the entrance exams in Universities I coveted for...
I've been told to my face I wouldn't qualify for anything more in life!
Heck, I was kicked out from Highschool TWICE!
Many nights I couldn't sleep wondering why...
Tough rejections since I was 13 years old punched me hard in the face,
All I could do was pray for it to stop...
If you're in the same spot as I was 10 years ago,
Your grave, could be your garden, you just can't see it yet.
Don't you ever let anyone tell you're too young to accomplish big things...
To be honest, staying where I'm comfortable at is a much easier option,
And what lies ahead of me could seem overhwelming...
But, as the very first student of the 'Read in 20 days' program,
I BENEFITED from EARLY READING,
And I developed the habit of reading at just 5 years old!
Today, the way I think and the way I view the world
Is deeply influenced by the books I've consumed.
Early reading has set me up for life, and has brought me across the GLOBE!
So I just made my life's biggest decision today.
I'll be opening my own Instant Reader branch with one simple mission in mind...
To raise and empower the next generation of Filipinos by teaching them to read proficiently.
Reading is every child's most important life skill...
Unfortunately, Filipino kids rank the lowest in the world in terms of reading comprehension...
So by bringing this program for OFW's in Dubai,
I aim to give their kids an amazing future by making them fall in love with reading.
