We had the privilege of hosting Fabien Lotz, as a Guest speaker in our recent Executive MBA course, Management & Organisation. Fabien is the COO of POPS Worldwide Vietnam, aaand also a Solvay Vietnam MBA alumnus 🌟.

We're all familiar with the teamwork during the Master's programs 😉, but making it to the another level like these gentlemen at the IronMan 70.3 Phu Quoc last weekend is truly remarkable !

Teaming up for this renowned triathlon were two EMBA alumni/student and Professor Erik Van Den Haute, who teaches International Business Law in the Solvay EMBA program. Mr. Vo Duy Quy kicked off the challenge with a 1.9 km swim , followed by Professor Erik’s 90 km bike ride, and Mr. Tuan Michael wrapping it up with a 21 km run. Together, they completed the race in 6 hours and 34 minutes! 🥳 Well-done team !

As Prof Erik has put it: "Teamwork is essential in professional life. As a team, you can do so much more than alone. I felt privileged and enjoyed the experience of giving my personal best for the (international) team, this time in a sports competition, and knowing that each of us was proud to bring their own contribution to the global effort."

This achievement showcases the power of collaboration, of collective effort and the spirit of Solvay community. Well done, team Tri Solvay ! 💪🌍
