HCM-IU is allowed to nominate ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ“ ๐œ๐š๐ง๐๐ข๐๐š๐ญ๐ž๐ฌ in the official nomination list, and 02 candidates in waiting list to VNUHCM.

๐Ÿ”. ๐„๐ฅ๐ข๐ ๐ข๐›๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐‚๐ซ๐ข๐ญ๐ž๐ซ๐ข๐š: Candidates are required to
๐Ÿ”ท Be a full-time Bachelor student at HCM-IU who have completed at least 2 semesters and have not yet completed/registered for Thesis by the time of application.
๐Ÿ”ท Have good/excellent academic results before the application (GPA of 70/100 or above).
๐Ÿ”ท To have good command of English (Valid proofs of certificate are a must).
๐Ÿ”ท Have the ability to work in a multicultural environment, preference for students with experience in extracurricular activities, cultural exchanges, or ASEAN-related programs.
๐Ÿ”ท Have leadership potentials, teamwork, and communication skills. Preference will be given to students with certificates or achievements in extracurricular activities.
๐Ÿ”ท Commit to fully participate in the whole program.

This June, International University will welcome the group of lecturers and students from Georgia Institute of Technology - GT (USA) coming for the Study Tour Program 2026. In the effort of encouraging the connection between GT students and HCM-IU students, CIM would like to recruit collaborators to participate in cultural exchange activities. ๐Ÿฅฐ We are more than happy to announce that HCM-IU and Riga Technical University's co-written proposal for Erasmus+ KA171 scholarships has been approved and granted by the European Commission.

With that being said, one (01) slot of full scholarship (for living expenses & travel subsidy) will be granted to one (01) Bachelor students of HCM-IU to study at Riga Technical University in the Autumn semester 2026 exchange program.

HCM-IU's long-standing partner in Thailand - SIIT is now calling for an official application for the non-degree program Short term Internship Program (STIP) 2026-2027.

๐Ÿ”น 4 weeks or 8 weeks between October 1, 2026 and July 31, 2027. The scholarship will cover a maximum of 8 weeks, unless students choose to extend their internship without scholarship support.
๐Ÿ”น The Internship period should start at the beginning of the month (no later than the 5th) and finish at the end of the month. For example, an internship could be scheduled from October 3, 2026, to November 30, 2026
๐Ÿ”น Students are recommended to pick the internship period in the summer semester that does not overlap with academic calendar of AY 2026-2027. ๐๐Ž๐“๐„: If students choose to undertake an internship that overlaps with the academic calendar, they have to contact their Schools/Departments (at HCM-IU) to ask for absence permission in classes during their internship, otherwise HCM-IU can not support them with the essential paperwork to go abroad.

1. Student's motivation to do the program and ideas for promotion.
2. Discipline area of interest for future study (Architecture and Built Environment, Engineering, Environment and Wildlife, IT and Science).
3. Academic Results (CGPA/GPA).
4. English proficiency level.
5. Gender balance.

๐’๐ญ๐ž๐ฉ ๐Ÿ“: Selected students start applying for Visa to enter Australia (with support from CIM regarding paperwork). Students contact Deakin University for further guidance about registering for accommodation, airport pick-up, arrival time, etc.
