Gen Z's Lesson on 'Catching Trends'

🤵‍♂️Adam – a Gen Z with the soul of a slow-living Gen X – decided to start his own business: a “healing café.” ☕

The concept was simple: a place of pure “Chill chill” – or, as he called it, a “No Wi-Fi, No Phone, Just Focus” café. Quite a “retro, retro vibe,” wouldn’t you say? Adam was thrilled, imagining lines of young people craving to slow down and enjoy coffee in a true “tea ceremony” style.

🤵‍♂️On opening day, Adam dressed the part in a crisp white shirt and black trousers, giving off “cool and mysterious boss vibes.” The sign out front read, in big letters: “No Phone – No Wi-Fi – No Distractions.” And underneath, in smaller print: “Come here, and just be you.”

So how did it go? Well… the whole day, not a single soul entered, aside from two elderly men who thought it was a traditional herbal medicine shop. Young folks walking by gave the café a quick glance, looked confused, then whipped out their phones… to snap a picture of the sign and post it with captions like, “Too chill for anyone to dare enter.” → Total flop💨.
