π Attention Parents! π
As teachers dedicated to our students' success, we want to encourage you to invest just 20 minutes a week in your child's reading journey using ReadTheory! πβ¨
Our advocacy for this online application stems from the incredible impact it has on reading comprehension, writing, speaking, and overall academic performance. While we encourage only 20-minutes a week, we thought you would appreciate seeing the numbers and how more reading is even more impactful. Did you know that students who read just 20 minutes a day can experience significant benefits?
Check out these eye-opening facts:
- Student A (20 min/day) will hear 1,800,000 words a year!
- By 6th grade, they will have read for 851 hours, while others read just 42 hours.
- On standardized tests, 90% of them will likely score better than their peers!
This small investment of time can make a world of difference in your childβs education. Let's work together to help our kids thrive! πͺβ€οΈ
Donβt know your childβs read theory log in? No problem, just message your childβs teacher and we would be happy to provide that information again!
Happy reading! π

π What are Quantifiers?
Quantifiers help describe the quantity of nouns, and mastering them can enhance your child's speaking and writing abilities.
π Quick Tips:
- A Few: Use for countable nouns (e.g., "I have a few toys.").
- Many: Also for countable nouns; ideal for questions and negatives (e.g., "How many books do you have?").
- Much: For uncountable nouns, often in questions and negatives (e.g., "I donβt have much time.").
- A Little: Use for uncountable nouns to express a small amount (e.g., "I need a little help.").
Letβs support our kids in mastering these important language skills! If you have questions or want to share your experiences, feel free to comment below. Together, we can make learning fun! ππ

We hope this message finds you well. We've have created this thought-provoking article that highlights the benefits of teenagers engaging with both classic and modern literature. It emphasizes the power of literature in:
- Connecting with the Past: Itβs amazing how books can transport us to different eras, teaching valuable history lessons and timeless human themes.
- Relating to Modern Times: Contemporary books are an excellent mirror of todayβs societal dynamics and issues, giving our teens a broader perspective.
- Building Emotional Intelligence: Through reading, teens develop empathy and better understand both their own and others' emotions.
Here are a few tips from the article for encouraging your child to dive into books:
- Create inviting reading spaces at home.
- Share your love for reading by talking about favorite stories.
