[SX x SC] [Reimagine One Stop] Gala Day Recap and Final Result

On Monday 31st October, the Gala Day of Reimagine One Stop 2022 by the Student Life - Student Experience and Fulbright Student Council took place with the final competition between 5 shortlisted contestants from all undergraduate Cohorts. The judges were amazed from time to time by amazing and thoughtful initiatives to renovate the One Stop Portal, developed from students' preliminary ideas, being pitched within the 2-hour session.

After considering pre-announced criteria (Aesthetic, Feasibility, Relevance, Representation, Q&A with judges), the judges came to the final result for the contest:

Reimagine One Stop Contest 2022 is coming to an end with only 5 contestants left. Each of them will bring their own unique initiatives to innovate the Fulbright One Stop Student Portal, competing for the total grand prizes of up to 7,000,000 VND.

In the previous 2 weeks, short-listed contestants of Reimagine One Stop Contest 2022 have received intensive training workshops on product development and design skillsets by professionals and Fulbright faculties. They are in the final stage to polish their ideas for the final Gala Day on October 31st, 2022.

To embrace the student-centered spirit, the Student Life - Student Experience is calling for 4 Fulbright undergraduate students to join the student judges panel. Together with our judges, your gradings will contribute to the final evaluation and awarding of Reimagine One Stop Contest. We will select the student judges panel based on diversity criteria, in which every Cohort, gender, and level of exposure to One Stop Portal will be considered. The selected candidates will receive a brief information session about the contest beforehand.

Every great Kingdom requires balance within its ruling system, and the Tamarind Kingdom is no exception. Because of the importance of the tasks, getting into one of the Tamarind Kingdom's coveted royal divisions is certainly no easy feat.

Previously, we introduced our second committee, Media. So last but not least, today, we are presenting to you: โ„๏ธACTIVITYโ„๏ธ The Activity Committee is responsible with:

๐ŸŒŸ Planning, executing, and supervising all Student Council's activities, events, and campaigns
๐ŸŒŸ Soliciting feedback and ideas from students about any programs, events, and campaigns, and pitch them to the Student Council
๐ŸŒŸ Working with departments and services at Fulbright University Vietnam to develop and/or enhance activities, events, and campaigns for the benefit of our students

This year, the Tamarind Kingdom is bustling with new events & activities, so the Committee is in need of hardworking members more than ever before to work on their two largest projects in the Academic Year: the creation of the YEARBOOK ๐Ÿ“” and PROM ๐ŸŽ‰

For the Yearbook Sub-committee, the Activity Officer is seeking people covering 5 different positions with a total of TWELVE slots:

โš”๏ธ Section Editor (3 slots)
โš”๏ธ Photography Staffer (1 slot)
โš”๏ธ Design Staffer (1 slot)

๐ŸŒŸ Ensure the Fulbright Student Council is well-represented to a wide audience in the media
๐ŸŒŸ Create, maintain, and manage Student Council's communication channels, including social media and websites
๐ŸŒŸ Ensure that the Student Council's representation is in compliance with Fulbright University Vietnam's Communication Policies and Guidelines
๐ŸŒŸ Record, archive, and circulate any media generated by and for the Student Council

The tasks of the Media Committee span far and wide across all divisions to ensure that their voices are heard by the citizens, and that is why they are offering the largest number of positions so far (5 different job titles with a total of SIX slots available):
