Johnny was born in America. He has a perfect American English accent, and speaks both English and Vietnamese fluently.
Vietnamese English teachers lack the proper native American accent, while foreign English teachers cannot speak Vietnamese. Johnny is the best of both worlds, being born in Vietnam and raised in America from when he was seven years old. Vietnamese is his native language, but American English is his primary language.
