September 2, 1945, in Ba Dinh Square, Hanoi, President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence, officially proclaiming the birth of Vietnam.

September 2, 2026, it’s a time to be grateful for our country, for our people, and for everything that has shaped Vietnam into what it is today.

During the holiday, you’ll see the red flag with its golden star everywhere, hanging outside homes, along the streets, and across the country

And yes, we’re taking a little break too!

A song. A walk. A shared meal. A game on the beach. What if these simple moments could become meaningful lessons in themselves?

One of our newest additions to the student engagement is our Mindfulness Excursion, designed to help students connect more deeply with themselves, with one another and with the natural world.

In a world where young people are surrounded by study, work, and the thoughts of their futures, we believe education can offer more than just academic instructions. Sometimes, it is also about reconnecting with the simple joys of being present.

Grounded in the mindfulness teachings of Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh, the excursion centered on simple actions that everyone could take part in, regardless of their faith, culture, or personal background: everyday human experiences. Singing, walking, playing games on the beach, tasting food and sharing thoughts.

Students explored:
🌿 The Way OUT is IN: A foundational workshop on internal reflection and resilience
👂 The Art of Deep Listening: Cultivating the communication skills necessary for healthy relationships
🌊 Mindful Living: Practical sessions on the "art of living"—learning to walk, eat, and relax with full awareness
🤝 Community Connection: "Be-in" gatherings and beach games designed to foster authentic connection among peers.

Studying abroad isn't only about seeing a new place or learning something new. It's also about learning to see yourself a little more clearly.
