Apollos University is an accredited private distance education university in the United States. Headquartered in Montana, the school offers Ph.D. , Master's, Bachelor's, and College programs in Business Administration, Business Management, and Information Technology. Warm-ups and icebreakers in the Classroom
As students learn a second language, they often find it challenging to speak in front of the class. This can be as a result of many past experiences, especially the fear of committing pronunciation errors and having vocabulary limitations
The Tesol classroom provides an open, interesting and comfortable environment to help students overcome their fears and to communicate freely. However, this is not going to happen without some effort where the teacher is responsible for creating this environment.
Tesol has some proven strategies to enhance the confidence and enthusiasm of students. The purpose of Icebreakers is to help students relax and know each other. They are basically short and interesting activities that give each student a sense of belonging. A typical example of such activities is a situation where the students come together to know the name of their fellow students and share certain personal information. The common practice is to introduce icebreakers at the beginning of a lesson or just before the beginning.

Warm-ups in TESOL serves who main purposes to help students relax in the environment and to engage them in English communication. Students are often found speaking their first language before arriving at the TESOL classroom. So Warm-ups are perfect for helping the students switch to English speaking as they are made to activate their English language learning brains.
In summary, Icebreakers and Warm-ups are used to help students relax and to improve their level of participation in the classroom.

Globalization and technology has enabled communications in the world to expand rapidly therefore requiring the one language to communicate effectively in the business world and of course travel.
