On June 4, 2022, TDTU held the University-level Doctoral Dissertation Examining Committee for Ph.D. candidate Dinh Cong Du (18621902) majoring in Computational Science.
The Ph.D. candidate was admitted to the doctoral program in Computational Science (English Program), in June 2018. He has carried out a doctoral dissertation, entitled “Development of damage identification methods for civil engineering structures with limited sensors and noisy measurement data”, under the guidance of Associate Prof.Dr. Nguyen Thoi Trung (Ton Duc Thang University) and Prof.Dr. Nguyen Thai Duc (Old Dominion University, USA).
His thesis was approved at the University-level Doctoral Dissertation Examining Committee with 07 out of 07 council members present.

🏅The Times Higher Education THE World University Rankings announced the university ranking results for 2022, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) was ranked in the Top 500 best universities in the world.
🏅Each ranking system has its own set of criteria. With similar results in many rankings, especially THE, QS and ARWU, it can be seen that TDTU's position on the world education map has been firmly established. The medium-term goal of TDTU, defined since 2017, is to become one of the Top 500 best universities in the world within 20 years. With THE's 2022 ranking results, this goal has basically been achieved.
