Last Sunday, September 20, VinUni came alive with the energy of Club Fair, bringing together students, clubs, and communities from across the university for a day of exploration, connection, and new beginnings.

For new students, Club Fair is more than just a chance to browse through different organizations. With more than 35 clubs spanning sports, academics, culture and arts, special interests, and student-led community activities, it is an opportunity to discover new passions, meet like-minded people, and find a community to call their own.

For VISA, it was a chance to welcome the newest members of our international student community and introduce them to the opportunities waiting beyond the classroom. From conversations and introductions to shared smiles and new connections, the day was filled with the excitement of students taking their first steps into university life. 🌏🤝

To everyone who stopped by, connected with us, and made the day special — thank you for being part of it.

Here’s to finding your people, discovering your passions, and making your mark at VinUni. 💙

Still deciding which community to join? Applications are open until October 1st—don't miss the chance to find your people, discover your passions, and make your mark at VinUni.

On September 18, VISA welcomed the newest members of VinUni’s international community for the Ocean Park Tour, an afternoon designed to help Cohort 7 students discover their new surroundings, connect with one another, and take their first steps toward feeling at home at VinUni.

From exploring Ocean Park and discovering local shops, restaurants, parks, and essential facilities to learning practical tips for everyday life, the tour turned a simple walk around the neighborhood into an interactive experience filled with games, challenges, and new connections.

Through team challenges, photo missions, shared meals, and moments of exploration, students had the opportunity to learn not only where to go, but also how to navigate and make the most of their new surroundings.

For VISA, this experience was about more than showing Cohort 7 around. It was about creating a welcoming first chapter to their journey at VinUni. Starting university in a new environment can come with uncertainty, unfamiliarity, and the challenge of finding your place within a new community. By bringing students together from the very beginning, we hope to make that transition a little more comfortable — giving them opportunities to meet new people, share experiences, support one another, and build connections beyond their immediate circles.

Welcome to VinUni, Cohort 7. Here’s to new places, new connections, shared experiences, and the beginning of an unforgettable journey.

WELCOME TO VIETNAM, WELCOME TO VINUNIVERSITY! 🌏🇻🇳

Starting life in a new country comes with a lot of questions: From studying and course registration to dorm life, health, and simply figuring out who to ask for help.

That’s why VinUni International Student Association (VISA), together with Student Development Management (SDM) and Registrar Office (REG), brought our full-time and exchange international students together for an Information Session filled with useful tips, fun games, and new connections!

We were delighted to have Ms. Nguyen Hong Ha, Vice Provost of Academic Administration, join us for the opening remarks and remind our international students that VinUni will always be here to support us.

A special thank you to Dr. Justin Adam Gelzhiser, our International Students Faculty Ambassador, and Dr. Matthew Rolley, CECS International Students Ambassador, for joining us and sharing how they can be a bridge between VinUni leaders and our international student community.

Now you know who to reach out to when you need a hand. We are confident that you will do great things as you embark on this journey!

Here’s to a fun year ahead, new friendships, and lots of unforgettable memories 🥳🥂

Recently, VinUni and VISA officially joined hands with Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) for an inspiring cross-cultural and educational exchange. Designed and driven almost entirely by students from both universities, this collaborative programme brought together diverse perspectives through interactive sessions, vibrant cultural showcases, and meaningful health awareness initiatives.

From shared traditions to collaborative learning, this event highlights the power of student-led collaboration in fostering cross-border relationships, mutual understanding, and global community building.

For VISA, this is more than an event. It is a milestone in our journey as a student-led association, fostering global community engagement at VinUni and building meaningful connections with universities around the world.

And this is only the beginning.
