“You’re so lucky.”

No—I worked hard to get here. I started teaching as soon as I finished university. I’ve always been open to new experiences and eager to learn.

Head of School: Can you teach teens?
Me: Yes.
Head of School: Can you teach toddlers?
Me: Yes.
Head of School: Can you teach kindergarten?
Me: Yes.
Head of School: Can you teach Math, Science, and ESL?
Me: Yes.
Head of School: Can you teach IGCSE ICT and AS Level Computer Science?
Me: Yes.

I’ve worked part-time at three different language centers while also teaching full-time at an international school. I would teach Grade 1 ICT in one period, then AS Level Computer Science in the next. I had to leave home before 7:30 a.m. and wouldn’t return until 10:00 p.m.—and I still had to prepare dinner afterward.

Now, I teach primary ICT from 8:00 a.m. to 3:10 p.m., then ESL, Math, and Science from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. I also teach kindergarten on Saturdays.

So if you see me doing nothing at home, resting all day, or traveling (God willing), know that it’s because I deserve it.

Everything I have today is not because of luck—it’s the result of hard work and, of course, His blessings.

1. Open website application links from agencies or schools career page.
2. Prepare a scan copy of your Diploma and TOR, Teaching License, TESOL certificates.
3. Prepare your updated CV and Application Letter.
4. Fill-in the information from their website and upload all the documents required.

If requested by employer:
1. Create 1-3 minutes self introduction video.
2. Prepare for online demo or recorded demo teaching.
3. Create a lesson plan of your demo.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS FOR TEACHING APPLICATION IN VIETNAM 🇻🇳

•ESL Teacher
-4yrs Bachelors Degree (Diploma and TOR)
-TESOL Certificage
-English Proficiency Certificate: C1/C2 (If requested by employer)
-Teaching Experience is an advantage

•Subject Teacher in Iinternational Schools
-4yrs Bachelor’s Degree in Education or other related Degree
-Teaching License/Masters Degree or other schools don’t require any
-Teaching Experience at least 3 years outside Vietnam (Not all province/city requires this but majority does)
