3 HIỂU NHẦM VỀ IELTS MÀ AI CŨNG BỊ
Hôm nay chúng ta sẽ không học một bài học luyện tập một kỹ năng cụ thể của IELTS mà chúng mình sẽ chỉ ra các hiểu lầm về kỳ thi IELTS mà bạn nên tránh để đạt điểm cao hơn nhé!
- Hiểu lầm 1: Có giám khảo dễ tính và khó tính, chiếm được cảm tình của họ sẽ được điểm cao.
Tất nhiên là không phải đâu nha. Nếu bạn đi thi về thấy giám khảo mặt lạnh lùng, nhận kết quả thi thì thấp hơn mong đợi. Thì đừng đổ lỗi là do giám khảo không thích bạn, hoặc quá khó tình nhé! Giám khảo IELTS được huấn luyện để giữ phong thái chuyên nghiệp trong quá trình làm bài thi. Họ không được:
+ đưa ra ý kiến
+gợi ý câu trả lời cho bạn
+ hoặc là trả lời các câu hỏi khác của bạn ngoài việc bạn yêu cầu nhắc lại đề bài.
Hơn nữa, mọi tiêu chí chấm bài Speaking đã được quy định rất chi tiết và chặt chẽ trong thang điểm, theo 4 tiêu chí chính. Bạn đáp ứng đến đâu thì điểm đến đấy.
Cùng với đó là bài thi IELTS cũng được ghi âm lại để cho các giám khảo khác chấm điểm. Vậy nên quá trình chấm điểm cho bạn chắc chắn rất khách quan. Không có sự cảm tính nào đâu nha!
- Hiểu lầm 2: Phải nói giọng Anh Anh hoặc Anh Mỹ mới được điểm cao
Rất nhiều bạn đã hỏi rằng mình phải học Anh Anh hay Anh Mỹ để được điểm cao hơn. Thực tế không có tiêu chí nào trong thang điểm có quy định dùng accent nhé, mà chỉ là
Pronunciation thôi. Nghĩa là bạn thích dùng giọng Anh, giọng Mỹ hay giọng Úc, hoặc trộn lẫn lộn nhiều loại đều được. Miễn phát âm đúng từ, rõ ràng, giám khảo không phải What?!! căng tai ra nghe là được.
Đây là bảng các tiêu chí trong phát âm. Các bạn có thể tham khảo để biết mình nên học và điều chỉnh phát âm của mình như thế nào nhé!
- Hiểu lầm 3: Phải dùng toàn từ ngữ học thuật hoặc idioms
Đúng là IELTS là bài thi sử dụng ngôn ngữ học thuật, nhưng không phải bất kỳ phần thi nào cũng cần dùng nhiều từ ngữ cao siêu hoặc dùng idioms để ghi điểm. Trong tình huống trên thì câu hỏi đưa ra là ở part 1 Speaking. Bạn không cần dùng nhiều idioms như vậy, mà nên để dành đến phần part 2 hoặc part 3. Hãy trả lời nhẹ nhàng thế này.
