Throwback to last weekend! ππΈ Our Boys Varsity Volleyball team had an incredible time competing in the Vin University Volleyball Invitational on May 16β17. It was a great experience for our boys to step onto the court and test their skills against talented collegiate athletes. They played hard, grew as a team, and fought their way to a 4th-place finish! A huge shoutout to Jooeon (G10), who was nominated for Best Opposite Player! ππ We are so proud of their effort and sportsmanship representing the school. Reception students have had an amazing time exploring the world of animals through hands-on learning and discovery! πΎπ They investigated what animals need to survive, how animals can change their environments to meet their needs, and how different habitats support different kinds of animals and living things. πΏπ¦Creating their Animal Habitat Dioramas and presenting them at the Animal Habitat Museum was a fun and engaging culmination of their learning. π¨π’ Students were excited to showcase their creativity, communication skills, and growing understanding of animal habitats and living things. π£οΈπ‘They should be very proud of the curiosity, effort, and wonderful knowledge they demonstrated throughout this unit! ππ

What an absolute showstopper of a night! πΆβ¨ Last nightβs performance was incredible, but the music isn't over yet. Tonight is officially our FINAL Spring Concert of the school year! From the stunning harmonies of the choir to the breathtaking melodies of the orchestra, our students completely blew us away. We loved every second of the music and the wonderful moments celebrating our dedicated music teachers and our amazing seniors. πβ€οΈ

Our Grade 7 students had an amazing experience welcoming GAEA to their Global Citizenship class this afternoon! ππ GAEA is an inspiring local social enterprise that upcycles waste banners into beautiful handcrafted products, all while empowering vulnerable women in rural communities. π§΅β¨ During the session, our 7th graders dove into a hands-on upcycling workshop, learning firsthand how sustainable business models can be a powerful force for environmental and social good. Together, they sewed hair scrunchies and decorated tote bags! πͺ‘ποΈ A big thank you to Mrs. Garcia and GAEA for supporting our students as they learned what it truly means to be an active global citizen! π
