🌍✈️ A Day of Discovery and Creativity at HIK! 🎨🤝

Today, our students explored the world through an exciting geography activity! In the morning, the children learned about the world map, discussed different holiday destinations, and practised identifying countries and regions from around the globe. These activities help develop geographical awareness, expand vocabulary, and inspire curiosity about the wider world while encouraging children to share their ideas and interests.

In the afternoon, our students joined Hamster Class for a collaborative craft session. Working together with friends from another class, they created beautiful artwork while building teamwork, communication skills, creativity, and confidence. Cross-class activities like these help children strengthen social connections and learn the value of cooperation in a fun and supportive environment.

Happy Monday! ☀️
Today was our second-to-last day before summer break, and the children had a wonderful day together!
This morning, the children enjoyed creating their own beautiful beach scenes 🎨🏖️, using their creativity and imagination to bring summer to life. After that, they had lots of fun exploring and playing with kinetic sand 🏝️👐, building, moulding, and creating different shapes with their friends.
In the afternoon, we joined the Butterfly class for a story time 📚✨ and a fun-filled dance party 💃🕺🎶. There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and fantastic dance moves as the children enjoyed spending time together.
We can't believe summer break is almost here! ☀️

🌟 A Day of Learning, Creativity & Play at HIK! 🌟

Today, our students spent the morning reviewing concepts and vocabulary from recent lessons while also completing any unfinished craft projects. It was wonderful to see the children revisit their work, add final touches, and proudly celebrate their completed creations! 🎨✨

These activities help reinforce learning in a meaningful way while developing important skills such as creativity, perseverance, focus, and fine motor coordination. By reflecting on what they have learned and completing projects independently, children build confidence and a sense of accomplishment.

In the afternoon, the children enjoyed our much-loved Golden Play Time. This special time allows them to relax, explore different activities, and strengthen friendships through play. 🏃‍♀️🤝🧩

Happy Friday! 🌟

Today the children started the day with some colouring 🎨🖍️ before working on their maths skills 🔢. We practiced counting to 100 together and then challenged ourselves to write the numbers independently ✏️. Everyone worked hard and showed great concentration and determination!

In the afternoon, the children enjoyed some well-deserved Golden Time ⭐, choosing their favourite activities and spending time with their friends 😊. We also enjoyed some yummy jellies 🍬 courtesy of Subaru, who will be travelling to Japan for the summer 🇯🇵☀️.

We hope Subaru and his family have a wonderful holiday filled with fun and happy memories ✈️🌈, and we can't wait to welcome him back to Hamster/K1 when he returns! 💛🐹

Today in Hamster/K1 🐹☀️, the children spent the morning staying cool and having lots of fun during water play 🌊. Everyone enjoyed splashing, playing with their friends, and making the most of the warm weather while staying refreshed 😊.

Afterwards, we headed back to the classroom for some calming mindfulness colouring 🎨🖍️. The children enjoyed taking some quiet time to relax, focus, and create beautiful pictures.

In the afternoon, the children took part in their very last Show & Tell of the year 🎤🧸📚. Everyone was excited to share their favourite toys, special skills, and treasured items with the class. It was wonderful to see how confident they have all become when speaking in front of their friends 💛.
We then gathered together for a farewell party for Timur 🎉🥤🍪 and enjoyed some delicious snacks together!

We will miss Timur very much and wish him all the best on his next adventure! 💙✨

💧🌿 Learning Through Water and Nature at HIK! 🌿💧

Today was another exciting day of hands-on learning at Hanoi International Kindergarten!

In the morning, the children continued their water-themed mathematics lesson, exploring measurement concepts and learning important vocabulary such as full, empty, more, and less. By comparing different amounts of water and using these words in context, the children developed early mathematical understanding, scientific thinking, problem-solving skills, and language confidence.

In the afternoon, the children completed their beautiful nature frame picture crafts by adding the final natural materials they had collected earlier in the week. This creative activity encouraged fine motor development, concentration, attention to detail, and a deeper appreciation for the natural world around them.

Today in Hamster/K1, we started our day with a cheerful craft activity! The children traced and cut out their hands on different coloured paper ✋ and created some super cute rainbow masterpieces 🌈. After all their hard work, the children enjoyed a brain break and some free play time with their friends 😊.

We then reviewed numbers 1–100 🔢, practicing our counting skills while doing fun exercises 🤸‍♀️💪 before completing a 1–100 tracing worksheet ✏️. Everyone worked hard and showed great focus!

In the afternoon, we worked on our language skills 📚✨. The children reviewed CVC words and got to work on their final language booklet of the year 📝🌟. It was wonderful to see how much progress they have made!

To finish the day, we danced the afternoon away 💃🕺🎶 with all of our class favourite songs. There were lots of smiles, laughter, and fantastic dance moves all around!

🌊🎬 A Day of Discovery and Imagination at HIK! 🧺✨

Today was filled with exciting learning experiences for our young learners at Hanoi International Kindergarten!

In the morning, the children joined Hamster Class for a special movie session featuring the Great Barrier Reef. Through this engaging educational film, they explored the vibrant underwater world, discovering fascinating ocean animals and colourful coral reefs. Activities like this help develop listening skills, curiosity, and a deeper understanding of the natural world.

In the afternoon, the children took part in a fun roleplay picnic. Each child was assigned a special role and worked together to ensure the picnic was a success. This hands-on experience encouraged teamwork, communication, problem-solving, responsibility, and social confidence in a meaningful and enjoyable way.

Today in Hamster/K1 🐹💛, the children completed their Kindergarten Memory Workbooks and then took turns sitting in the Hot Seat 🔥🪑 to present them to the class. It has been wonderful to see how much their confidence has grown throughout the year, and everyone did an amazing job sharing their memories and achievements 😊👏

The children then decorated their class photos 🖼️🎨 to take home as a special keepsake of their year together. After that, we headed outside for a summer scavenger hunt ☀️🔍🌻, where everyone had lots of fun searching for signs of summer and exploring the outdoor environment.

In the afternoon, the children received their end-of-year gifts 🎁🌟 as a celebration of all their hard work and for being such wonderful students this year. We then gathered together for a farewell party for Lukas 🎉💙.
A huge thank you to Lukas’s family for providing delicious snacks and juice for everyone to enjoy 🍎🧃. The children had a lovely time celebrating together and sharing special memories.

Everyone is going to miss Lukas so much. 💕 We love you, Lukas, and wish you the very best of luck on your next adventure! 🌈✨

💧🌿 A Day of Active Learning and Nature Exploration at HIK! 🌿💧

Today, our children enjoyed a wonderful blend of physical activity, discovery, and creativity.

In the morning, the children took part in an exciting water sponge race, transferring water from one bucket to another using only sponges. After the race, they measured and compared the amount of water collected, introducing early concepts of measurement, estimation, problem-solving, and teamwork. This fun challenge also helped strengthen gross motor skills, coordination, and cooperation.

In the afternoon, our young explorers went on a nature collection hunt around the school grounds, gathering leaves, flowers, and other natural treasures. Using their discoveries, they created beautiful nature frame collages, encouraging creativity, observation skills, fine motor development, and a deeper appreciation for the natural world.
