Greetings, fellow RMIT students!

I am Nguyen Hoang Minh Ngoc, a Finance freshman and current Student Council Sub-committee member, stepping forward to run for Vice President.

Working within the Council has given me a front-row seat to our potential. I’ve seen the dedication behind every event, but I’ve also recognized where our "vibrancy" can sometimes miss the quiet voices. I am running because I believe an insider’s perspective is best used to open the doors wider for everyone - moving from simply holding events to holding space for every student.

My blueprint for a Council that truly resonates:

Proactive Support: We will move beyond "one-off" assistance. By establishing daily support booths and active surveys, we ensure no student faces a deadline or a struggle in isolation.

A Culture of Belonging: Utilizing our Diversity & Inclusion lens to move past surface-level participation. We will facilitate the "hard" conversations, on mental health and identity, so you feel seen, not just included.

Tangible Advocacy: I will coordinate across all offices to ensure your feedback isn't just heard, but woven into the very fabric of our campus facilities and courses.

My journey through projects like Ve Thong Hanh has taught me that leadership isn't defined by a title, but by the ability to pivot and empathize. I’m ready to turn internal insights into external impact.
