1. Finalise the design and implementation of the solutions
2. Prepare the presentation and demo
3. Submit source code to Github

Note about the report:
A brief report (few pages) focusing on the essential information about (1) what your app/system is, (2) its main funtionalities, (3) extra challege(s) (compared to the course units) and (4) how to set up and run.
Report must be named after the group name.

✨ The workshop is part of industry-link project with DataStax for ICT/CS students and lecturers where they can learn and discuss AstraDB/Cassandra. After the workshop, students are able to:
🔺 Understand the basics of NoSQL in Cassandra (data modeling) the basics of how to design a NoSQL database
🔺 Create an AstraDB database and update data in it using the command line console
🔺Programmatically manipulate data in the database from the following languages (in the order of preference): Java, PHP, Python, Rubi, C/C++
Following the workshop, students and lecturers can participate in the Industry Link Competition (ILC), where the best solutions will be recognized and awarded prizes.

Purpose:
To train students with the fundamentals to know what AstraDB/Cassandra is and how to use it in their programming assignments. These are to be submitted to the Industry Link Competition (ILC), where the best solutions will be recognized and awarded with prizes.

Audience:
The primary audience will be students, but teachers can also benefit because they are the primary source for technical help:
students with some background in programming
some have had a basic relational database understanding
some are 1st-semester students (without prior knowledge of SQL)

Benefits from the workshop:
Students will have an opportunity to learn AstraDB/Cassandra enough to be able to:
Understand the basics of NoSQL in Cassandra (data modeling) the basics of how to design a NoSQL database

See a demonstration of a basic e-commerce app that is built with AstraDB.

👏 With the heat of ILC, students majoring in CS at Swinburne Vietnam - Da Nang are actively practicing Smart Car for their upcoming journey.

- Team "TTM" is bringing a different perspective on the extra challenge. It is great to know that each team has something new, whether it is about some technical contributions or it is about the problem domain
- Had a brief initial meeting today because students were on the tutorial break :-) Had rescheduled the meeting to 5-6 PM on Thurday.
- Again, such a fantastic enthusiasm from the team.

- Happy to meet a very capable and enthusiastic group of students
- Discussed an overall plan and some extra challenge ideas
- "Debuggers" were asking very good questions and making suggestions for the challenge
- Demonstrated the FirstAppCloudNative in Java to connect to AstraDB and printed some server info. More to come in the student workshop on Nov 7.
