SUNBOT Explores Collaboration Opportunities with SEVENBANK 🌿

On June 5, 2024, at the headquarters of KIRO Vietnam, KIRO leadership met and exchanged collaboration opportunities with Mr. Tsuneo Nagashima - Managing Executive Officer of SEVENBANK Group. SEVENBANK is a subsidiary of the conglomerate owning the Seven-Eleven brand - Seven & I Holdings Co., Ltd.

🌿 Both parties enthusiastically shared commonalities in the direction and potential of the SUNBOT program for the Vietnamese and international markets.

🌿 Previously, KIRO welcomed Mr. Tomoki Yamada - a representative of SEVENBANK and also a STEAM/STEM research professor in Japan - to visit the SUNBOT Smart Classroom at Uy No Preschool, D**g Anh in November 2023.

Since the academic year 2021-2022, KIRO Vietnam - the creator of SUNBOT, has been designated as the sole representative unit for the preschool sector to participate in building and developing smart school projects by the Hanoi Department of Education and Training. As of November 2023, the SUNBOT smart class has been experimentally deployed in over 250 preschool educational institutions nationwide, with over 45,500 children enrolled, all showing a 100% satisfaction rate after exposure. On August 19, 2023, was honored at the Vietnam Education Technology White Book and Ranking event held in Hanoi. In December of the same year, SUNBOT was honored as the Education Innovation of the Year at the National Awards for Technology and Digital Transformation in Education.

Signing Ceremony: SUNBOT Program Implementation with Japan International School (JIS)

📌 On the morning of April 9th, 2024, at Japan International School (JIS), located at 84A Nguyen Thanh Binh, Van P**c, Ha D**g, Hanoi, the signing ceremony for the implementation of the SUNBOT program - STEAM & Computational Thinking for preschoolers took place.

📌 Established in 2016, JIS is a comprehensive school from preschool to high school following the Japanese education model, combining Japanese education with the international Cambridge program. The school serves as a bridge for cultural, economic, social, and technological exchanges between Vietnam and Japan, and the international community. "The journey to wisdom" is the aspiration and goal of Japan International School (JIS).

📌 The SUNBOT program, focusing on 4.0 Mindset applied to robotics and STEAM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics), will be implemented at the facility in the near future, promising a bright future for preschoolers. The program aims to provide comprehensive development of intelligence and the most essential skills of the 21st century for children, while also solidifying the quality and brand of Japan International School.

🌟 Notable participants included Dr. Dang Minh Chuong, President of the Tuổi Thơ Preschool System, and Mr. Nguyen Thien Anh, CEO of KIRO Vietnam Education Technology Joint Stock Company. Both parties signed an agreement with shared aspirations: the creation of a modern, technologically advanced educational environment that inspires and fosters intellectual development for preschool children at Tuổi Thơ Preschool.

📌 The second school in Chí Linh, Hải Dương, successfully implemented the SUNBOT program, making Tuan Viet International Kindergarten a pioneering institution in bringing smart education and robotics to the younger generation of Chí Linh.

📌 After a brief period of transition, training, and collaboration with the school, the teachers of Tuan Viet International Kindergarten have met the certification standard "STEAM and Mind Programming Teachers with SUNBOT."

STEAM Education Specialized Training for Preschool Educators in Hà Đông District

To effectively implement educational innovations and STEAM education across all levels, the Hà Đông District Department of Education has devised a STEAM education training plan for preschool administrators and teachers. SUNBOT's training expert, Mr. SUNBOT, will lead a seminar on October 18, 2023, at the Lê Trọng Tấn Preschool.

This expert-led training will feature Ths.Nguyễn Thành Chung, a STEAM/STEM education researcher from Hanoi National University of Education, and Ms. Nguyễn Hương Lệ, an early childhood education expert from IPD, SUNBOT's program director. Representatives from the Hà Đông Department of Education, school principals, and teaching staff will also attend.

The specialized training will delve deep into STEAM implementation at the preschool level, focusing on distinguishing STEAM classes from traditional art and craft classes, integrating technology, and developing comprehensive lesson plans.

Empowering Bảo Thắng Province Preschool Education: STEAM Training by KIRO Vietnam and SUNBOT

🌿As per plan No. 346/PGD&ĐT-NV on September 19, 2023, the Department of Education and Training in Bao Thang district, in collaboration with KIRO Vietnam and SUNBOT, conducted STEAM education training for Preschools with SUNBOT as training expert.

🌿Participants included Mr. Nguyen Thien Anh - CEO of KIRO Vietnam, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Chung - Deputy CEO of KIRO Vietnam, and Ms. Nguyen Huong Le - Early Education Specialist from IPD, alongside Ms. Bui Thi Hai Van - District Party Committee Member and Head of the Department of Education and Training in Bao Thang district, along with preschool educators and staff.

🌿The training delivered practical insights on Smart Education and STEAM Education for Preschools. Representatives from KIRO Vietnam delivered speeches and presented the Smart Classroom SUNBOT and the Life Science subject to Binh Minh Preschool in Pho Lu town.

🌿 Họ luôn dùng logic và lập luận để tự khám phá sự thật, bảo vệ quan điểm của mình. Điều này được đánh giá cao ở các nước phát triển, nhưng không phải là truyền thống giáo dục của nhiều nước châu Á, kể cả Việt Nam.

🌿 Khi không có thói quen phản biện, ta sẽ như thế nào? Trong thời đại 4.0 ngay trước mắt thì ta sẽ dễ bị định hướng và thao túng bởi những thông tin tràn lan tiêu cực trên mạng. Ta khó nhận biết đúng sai, ta dễ bị đám đông ảnh hưởng.

🌿 Xa hơn nữa thì ta sợ sai, sợ thay đổi. Sợ nhìn thẳng vào những vấn đề của chính mình và người khác, vì ta đã quá quen với những gì thận thuộc để vuốt ve cảm xúc của bản thân, rồi có thể sẽ mãi quay cuồng trong mớ bòng b**g của vấn đề. Nhưng vấn đề thực sự là gì, liệu ta đã giải quyết được chưa?

🌿 Hãy bắt đầu tập thói quen đặt câu hỏi sâu sắc: "Vì sao lại như vậy?", "Có cách tiếp cận nào khác?", "Người ta lập luận như vậy dựa trên góc nhìn nào?", "Nếu nhìn từ khía cạnh khác thì sao?", "Có điểm nào chưa hợp lý, cần cải thiện không?".

🌿 Để trở thành người có tư duy phản biện, chúng ta cần rèn luyện kỹ năng đó trong cuộc sống của chính mình. Là bậc cha mẹ có tư duy phản biện, là nhà giáo có tư duy phản biện, là người lãnh đạo có tư duy phản biện. Từ đó, thế hệ tương lai sẽ là những người có tư duy phản biện giống như các đất nước sở hữu nền giáo dục tiên tiến trên thế giới.

🌿 Những câu hỏi điên rồ kiểu "Vì sao A lại phải là A mà không phải là B?" đã trở thành hạt giống cho những ý tưởng vĩ đại. Tư duy phản biện là cánh cửa dẫn tới sáng tạo và thành công.

🌿 Hãy tư duy phản biện nếu bạn muốn tiến về phía trước. Còn nếu bạn đã hài lòng với vùng an toàn của mình, đó cũng là một lựa chọn.
