To enhance the Debate Skills for DTU Students, DTU organizes the 5th debate contest 2021. Please, register to join this interesting contest.
🤗The Prizes:
- 1 First Prize: 2.000.000 VND
- 1 Second Prize: 1.500.000 VND
- 2 Third Prizes: 1.000.000 VND
- 6 Honorable Prizes: 500.000 VND
- 10 Promising prizes: 1 DTU T-shirt each

🤗 The Audition:
Candidates can randomly choose the topic bellow to present for the Audition. The presentation is about 5 minutes.
- Beauty Pageants Are Harmful to Women.
- National Governments Should Provide an Annual Income for Workers Displaced by the Pandemic.
- Guns Should Be Banned for Everyone Except Military and Police.
🤗The audition will be on March 6, 2021 from 8 AM to 11 AM
Location: The DTU Library, Room 601, 03 Quang Trung, Da Nang City
(Candidates can choose the time which is convenient for them. The 20 best candidates will be selected for the first round)
🤗 The First round:
- The rules for the First round: Two debaters (or teams). A coin tossed decides which side (pro or con) goes first. Debater A has five minutes to state his side. Debater B has five minutes to state his side. Debater A has 3 minutes to rebut. Debater B has 3 minutes to rebut. Debater A has 2 minutes to close. Debater B has 2 minutes to close. The 10 best candidates (5 pairs) chosen from the First round will continue joining the Final Round.
- The Training: The 5 best pairs chosen from the first round will have a Debate Training session with Prof. Barbara from USA. She has lots of experience in debate and critical thinking.
🤗 The Final Round: The 10 best candidates (5 pairs) continue joining the Final Round.
- The rules: as same as the First round.

[Tham gia cổ vũ Vòng chung kết cuộc thi Tranh luận lần thứ 4]
Vòng Chung Kết Cuộc thi Tranh luận lần thứ 4 dành cho sinh viên Đại học Duy Tân sẽ diễn ra vào lúc 8h đến 11h ngày 30/3/2019 tại thư viện Trường Đại học Duy Tân, tầng 6, số 3 Quang Trung, Tp. Đà Nẵng.
Năm cặp đôi xuất sắc được tuyển chọn từ vòng sơ loại, và vòng chung khảo sẽ góp mặt tại vòng chung kết; hứa hẹn sẽ mang lại những trận tranh luận hấp dẫn và kịch tính.

[COME TO JOIN AND CHEER THE 4TH DEBATE COMPETITION]
The Final Round of the 4th Debate Competition for the DTU students will be launched on Sat, 30/3/2019 from 8:00 AM to 11.00 AM at Duy Tan University's Library (The 6th floor- 3 Quang Trung - Da Nang).
The top five pairs selected from the audition and the second round will advance to the Final Round which is supposed to be a very fascinating and competitive performance.
Please come and cheer the Final Round of the 4th Debate Competition.
