MARVELOUS WORDS
Có ai từng bị kẹt ở band 6 trở xuống trong kì thi Speaking không? Suốt quãng thời gian học lên voi xuống chó mà vẫn không lên band được, thôi thì mình chớ có bất bình tĩnh, cùng KK team học mấy từ ảo diệu để vô thi Speaking ảo diệu với giám khảo nào.

Vocabulary:
Procrastination (n): the fact of delaying something
Procrastinate (v): delay doing something when it must be done
ex: I haven’t finished my deadlines because of my procrastination.
ex: I usually procrastinate my homework because I don’t know the first thing about physics.

be up to my ears: very busy.
ex: At that time when I was preparing for my final test, I was definitely up to my ears

Nerve-racking: (adjective): Stressful
ex: I was nerve-racking after my exam so I decided to travel.

Hit the books: the fact of studying and preparing for your exam.
ex: I can’t hang out today because of the coming test. I’ll stay at home and hit the books.

Cram (v): Try to study as much as possible in a short time, especially to prepare for your exam.
ex: She's cramming for her history exam.

ADVANCED WORDS ABOUT COVID 19

Vocabulary:

1. Asymptomatic (adjective): showing no symptoms of a particular disease - She had no idea her husband had coronavirus because he was asymptomatic.

2. Contagious (adjective): describing a disease that can pass from person to person, usually by direct contact; describing a person with such a disease. See infectious - Patients who are still contagious are kept in isolation.

3. Droplets (noun): the spray produced when people cough or sneeze, and which can spread diseases like COVID-19 - Health care personnel wear protective clothing to guard against the disease carried in droplets when infected people sneeze or cough.

4. Incubation period (noun): the time from a person’s first exposure to a disease to the time when symptoms develop - When they know the incubation period they will know how long to keep people in quarantine.
