Question:
Describe a person who has influenced you.
❌ Basic answer:
My teacher influenced me a lot. She was kind and helped me with my studies. She encouraged me to work hard and believe in myself. Because of her, I became more confident.
✅ More natural Band 7+ version:
My high-school English teacher had a profound influence on me. She was incredibly supportive and always pushed me to step outside my comfort zone. What I appreciated most was that she never simply gave me the answers; instead, she encouraged me to think for myself. Looking back, I’d say she played a major role in building my confidence, not only as a student but also as a person.
