The HS District UIL Competition will be held on Wednesday, March 26th, 2025 at Muenster ISD. Here are a few reminders:
⭐️All participating students must ride the bus to the competition. The first bus will leave at 7:00 AM with the Ready Writing, Number Sense, Calculator, Current Issues & Events, Prose and Poetry participants. All other events will leave at 8:00 AM on the second bus. The return bus will leave Muenster at 2:40 PM to return to school.
⭐️All students are asked to dress appropriately - no really short skirts or dresses, no t-shirts, no ball caps or holey jeans. Dress professionally.
⭐️Parents who choose to pick up their child after their contest(s) will need to come to the holding area and sign them out.

Cooke County will hold public meetings to gather public input for updating the Hazard Mitigation Plan.

The purpose of the public meeting is to provide a project overview from H2O Partners, Inc., consultant to the project, and solicit information from citizens. Public input will help the project team to analyze potential hazards affecting residents and recommend possible actions to reduce their impact.

Junior High Students, get ready to ⚡️Light Up the Night, ⚡️presented by the Junior High Cheerleaders! Enjoy the night on April 5th, from 6-8 PM in the Era Cafeteria. Only junior high students may attend and must follow school dress code.

Layton Weaver is up next for Senior Spotlight! Layton plans to go to NCTC, work towards a degree in Kinesiology, and serve as a student volunteer in the athletic program. He then plans to transfer to a 4-year university and ultimately have a career as a coach or trainer. Good luck, Layton!
