Congratulations Eagle Scouts! ⚜️

We are thrilled to share that Logan Hallam, a 14-year-old Eagle Scout from Troop 134, has been named the Outstanding Young Philanthropist by the Heart of Illinois Community Foundation!

Logan was nominated for this prestigious honor by Scovill Zoo after leading a volunteer project to build a new tortoise house for Ella the Galapagos tortoise, which now provides her with more outdoor time year-round. While his initial goal was to raise $2,500, Logan demonstrated exceptional dedication by raising nearly $6,000, graciously donating all remaining funds back to the zoo.
