Many gathered to celebrate and witness all that our students had the opportunity to learn, grow from, and achieve throughout the year. Although Mrs. French is no longer with us, we lovingly remembered her presence by placing her picture at the ceremony as a tribute to the impact, love, and dedication she shared with our school community.

For the final day of Professional Month, our students had an exciting and inspiring visit from the extraordinary reggae artist Tia! ๐ŸŽถโœจ

Tia shared her journey of how she began her career in music, the challenges she faced, and the determination it took to follow her passion. Students were thrilled to learn about the famous reggae artists she has worked with, including I-Octane and Bounty Killer! ๐ŸŽค๐Ÿ‡ฏ๐Ÿ‡ฒ

One of the most exciting parts of the visit was when students had the opportunity to write their own songs to the โ€œDrop Leaf Riddim.โ€ The room was filled with creativity, laughter, rhythm, and talent! ๐ŸŽต๐Ÿ”ฅ

Our students are truly talented, and Tia helped to tap into that creativity and encourage them to express themselves through music. Thank you, Tia, for an unforgettable experience and for inspiring the next generation to dream big and use their voices! ๐Ÿ’›๐ŸŽถ

Todayโ€™s Professional Month visit at the School of the Good Shepherd was truly inspiring! โœจ

We were honored to welcome Vynisha Charles โ€” accountant, member of the Army National Guard, makeup artist, and hairstylist โ€” who shared with our girls the importance of determination, practice, and believing in themselves.

As many of the students used the word โ€œhardโ€ while asking questions, Mrs. Charles reminded them that challenges should never be viewed as impossible. Through hard work, consistency, and confidence, they can become anything they dream of being. ๐Ÿ’ซ

Thank you, Mrs. Charles, for encouraging our future leaders to push beyond limits and strive for greatness! ๐Ÿ’•

Todayโ€™s Professional Month visit was one to remember! ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‘ฎ๐Ÿฝโ€โ™‚๏ธโœจ

A heartfelt thank you to the Air National Guard representatives, TSgt Shevona Jones, SSgt Riquesha Williams and our Captain Jamale R. Griffin of the Police Department for taking the time to visit our students at the School of the Good Shepherd. They shared valuable insight into their careers, spoke about the importance of their service, and different branches of the military, while also answering the many curious questions from our students.

What made the visit even more special was seeing them take time to laugh, interact, and play with the children โ€” creating moments our students will truly remember. โค๏ธ

Experiences like these help inspire our future leaders and professionals by showing them the many paths they can take to make a difference in the world.
