Happy St. Patrick's Day! You can be sure you'll get a treat from Mrs. Mary Ellen French, our lucky charm. She always so thoughtful. 💚

Today we also had our VI History Presentation and learned about some VI greats like, the artist Pressure, athlete Mikaela Smith, and Governor Juan F. Luis, just to name a few.

Yesterday, we took a field trip to Estate Whim Museum for the Culture and History Workshop, where the students took a walking tour of the grounds.
We enjoyed cornmeal pop and bush tea at the start after hearing all about how Whim was established. We strolled the estate, discussing and learning all about the various historymakers. Lunch was served by Ms. Clay, who made it hard to resist having seconds.
As we continued the tour, we spent time in Granny's House, learning how to make peppermint candy with Ms. Tonge. It was a great not to mention a delicious experience! Thank you, Mrs. Quinones for accommodating us.

We had a furry visitor today and the kids didn't like anything better. The students named him " Shepherd", gave him water and TONS of love.

However, this puppy was found near the Frederiksted dump by Mr. Wells, and we think that he may have been lost. If anyone is looking for their lost dog, call 340.692.9992.

Our day at the fair continues, as we also enjoyed visiting the other booths and the Children's Museum Activity area. A small reward.

At the AG Fair!!!
Our students in the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades participated in this year's Hay Bale contest. They chose the theme of God's promise that if we build together, we will grow together.
The student's constructed a town with stores, home, school, a factory, a beach and a farm with animals, vegetables and a pot of gold that overflowed into the streets to show that Agriculture can be the source of wealth in our community. The horizon was made of a bright rainbow.
Unfortunately, we didn't place in the contest, but we are very proud of our students and their ability to create, build, and present their project at the fair.

Tentatively scheduled to reopen on August 23, 2021. Monday to Friday. 8:00 am to 2:30 pm. Kindergarten to 8th grade.
Call 340 690 9992 for further information.
Have a safe and blessed summer. Remember to follow any and all Covid guidance that are still in place.
