Proud to see Operation Inspire students learning beyond the classroom. Experiences like this help bring teamwork, curiosity, and real-world learning to life.

We are proud to share that Cane Bay Cares was a sponsor of the 2026 St. Croix District Spelling Bee, held Feb. 19 at the St. Croix Educational Complex auditorium.

Our support helped fund trophies and medals, participant gifts, event materials, and commemorative T-shirts for the students who took the stage.

A BIG congrats to this year’s champion, Rayan Felix, a 7th grader from Free Will Baptist Christian School, who also previously won in 2024.

We also applaud:

- 3rd Place: Guillian Canceko, 4th grade

And to every participant, well done! We are so proud of you.

Members of our team were honored to attend, including Kirk Chewning and Jimmy Whatley of our primary sponsor Cane Bay Partners VI, LLLP, and witness firsthand the preparation and courage of these young scholars.

Thank you to the Virgin Islands Department of Education for the opportunity to partner in support of academic excellence across our community.

We were proud to support the St. Croix Coordinating Council’s Advent VI Pulse Drum Band with a donation earlier this year. 🎶

The band brought incredible energy and spirit to this morning’s Veteran’s Day Parade in Christiansted, and we were thrilled to see them in action. 🇺🇸

Formed about ten years ago, Advent VI Pulse helps St. Croix youth develop musical skills, build meaningful relationships, and engage in education and community service. They are an inspiring example of how music can unite and empower the next generation. ❤️🥁

A huge thank you to the VIPD for hosting such a fun, family-friendly event and giving us the opportunity to participate! We had an amazing time connecting with the community and spreading a little Halloween cheer.

We’d also like to give a big shout-out to our CBC team for making it all possible — from donating candy and creating our award-winning trunk to helping with setup, breakdown, and greeting everyone at our table throughout the day. Your creativity and teamwork made us shine!

And of course, thank you to our volunteers who came out to lend a hand with setup, breakdown, and table support — we couldn’t have done it without you!

Events like these remind us how lucky we are to have such a dedicated and community-minded team.
