Memphis home recognized with resolution after being named national historic site The home of Gladys "MaDear" Bennett On Delmar Avenue was one of Memphis' early schools for African Americans to learn professional skills.

BIHL will be open for our fellow SCS and other municipal school district and private school students who need a place to go for virtual learning! This is In addition to our traditional campus classes and homeschool satellite and co-op programs! Masks are required and other OPTIMAL PPE will be provided for all students as well. Students should bring laptops and headphones / earplugs (if your student doesn't have either, just let us know!) Students may bring food, but all meals and snacks will be provided for students who choose this option for a nominal additional fee.
