🔆 MOVING UP THE HILL 🔆

At our school, graduation isn't just for the big kids.

Maria Montessori said that the beginning of adolescence, around the start of middle school, is like a "rebirth as a social being". We've witnessed exactly that throughout the year in the Upper Elementary classrooms.

Today, along with their teachers and families, we celebrated as 19 fifth-graders officially moved up to enter the PGIA as sixth-graders. They were presented certificates and each student heard words of reflection and encouragement from their teachers, Ms. Harris and Ms. Henderson, as well as remarks from Ms. Sloan.

A warm congratulations to Addison, Ayden, Bennett, Conner, Eleanor, Gabby, Giorgio, Kai, Kian, Liam, Maddie, Maela, Matthew, Noah, Pearl, Sutton, Tameem, Wyatt, and Zaiden!
