Throwback: Flexin' the place that shaped my heart as an educator โ my alma mater and my home for 6 unforgettable years in the Philippines. ๐ต๐ญโค๏ธ
Forever grateful to SEAMEO SEN for recognizing me as one of the 6 Hall of Fame recipients in 2022, selected from 250 outstanding participants across Southeast Asia and beyond. What an honor it was to stand alongside fellow Filipino educators and proudly represent the Philippines on the global stage. ๐๐
This milestone reminds me that every late night, every challenge, and every effort in advocating for inclusive education was worth it. Thank you to my mentors, supervisors, principals, colleagues, and everyone who believed in me and supported my journey.
No matter where life takes me, I will always carry the lessons, memories, and purpose I gained from my school and my SPED journey in the Philippines. ๐ต๐ญโจ
To all educators: continue advocating, innovating, and believing in the power of inclusive education. Our work changes lives. ๐๐

From decorating for Recognition Day to setting up for the Promotional Ceremony...this is how Filipinos in BCB show true bayanihan. ๐ต๐ญ
No task is too big when everyone lends a hand. Teamwork, unity, and heart always shine through. โค๏ธ
โMany hands, one goal.โ
Proud of our BCBMS family for turning hard work into beautiful memories together.
Thank you The Home Depot for lending us the beautiful live plants that made our setup even more vibrant and memorable.
Still canโt get enough of our Carnival decorating gig!
From the afternoon sun to midnight hustle, every flower, feather, ribbon, and sparkle was made with love, teamwork, and pure passion.
Though we werenโt on the road this Carnival season, our hearts were fully in the experience as we proudly designed the Chicken Hawk float for our Insular Superintendent, Dr. Jurgen.
Tired? YES.
Worth it? ABSOLUTELY. ๐ฏ
To Sir Shiggy, Maโam Tin, Sir Melvin, and our ever-supportive hubbies...thank you for making every late-night decorating session full of laughter, creativity, and unforgettable memories. ๐ฅฐ
Like butterflies, we came together and turned simple materials into something beautiful. ๐ฆ

To the moms, grandmothers, guardians, aunties, teachers, and every beautiful soul who chose to love, nurture, and stand strong for our children with special needs...today, we celebrate YOU. ๐
Your love goes beyond words.
Your patience creates safe spaces.
Your strength becomes their courage.
And your sacrifices, both seen and unseen, change lives every single day. ๐ทโจ
Thank you for advocating when itโs hard, for comforting through challenges, for celebrating every small victory, and for loving unconditionally. The world is brighter because of hearts like yours. ๐ซถ
Happy Motherโs Day from the SPED EDVOCATE Family.
You are appreciated. You are valued. You are deeply loved. ๐
I was blessed with the opportunity to sing at One Generation, One Name โ Unity Across Churches held at Magenโs Bay. ๐๐ฝ
With a full heart, We offered the song โAt the Crossโ
A heartfelt thank you to Pastor Ian and Marsy Mae Barretto for inviting us and allowing me to share this special moment. Your kindness and support mean so much!
Moments like this remind me that our voices, no matter where we come from or what challenges we face, can uplift, inspire, and bring people together in worship and unity.
As a SPED educator and advocate, I carry this same message that every voice matters, every heart has a song, and every individual has a purpose. ๐ซ

A Day of Strength, Joy, and Victory!
Yesterday, our amazing students participated in the Exceptional Games, and what a truly unforgettable experience it was! ๐
From basketball ๐, softball throw ๐ฅ, soccer โฝ, to running on the oval ๐โโ๏ธ each child gave their best, showed courage, and embraced every moment with smiles and determination.
The highlight of the day?
๐ Seeing them proudly wear their medals at the end of the event. ๐
It wasnโt just about winning, it was about confidence, inclusion, and celebrating every ability.
We are beyond proud of our students. This is what Special Education is all about...empowering, inspiring, and shining in their own unique way. ๐

As the President of UNIFFIED STTJโUSVI and a proud Special Education advocate, my heart is overflowing with gratitude after the success of our UNIFFIED Fun Run 2026.
This event was more than just a run but was a reminder that every step we take as a community matters. ๐
Just like in Special Education, progress may look different for everyone, but whatโs important is that we move forward together.
Seeing our community, educators, families, students, and friends, come together with one goal of health, unity, and support was truly inspiring.
To everyone who ran, supported, donated, and volunteered thank you for being part of something meaningful.
As a SPED teacher, I always believe:
โจ Every step counts.
โจ Every effort matters.
โจ And together, we can go further.
This is just the beginning. ๐๐

So proud moment! ๐
Seeing my friends and fellow Filipinos and fellow VIDE educators proudly wearing the rashguard I designed for the VIDE Education Warriors Team at the Battle of the Agencies truly means so much! ๐๐ฝ
Right now, they are in St. Croix and their energy, teamwork, and warrior spirit shine beyond the field representing dedication, passion, and the heart of education.
Congratulations, Education Warriors!
Keep inspiring, keep winning, and keep making a difference!
