Maybe the answered prayer didn’t look like what you expected.
I asked for purpose, and He gave me students who need patience.
I asked for strength and He gave me long nights, hard conversations, and moments that test you.
I asked for clarity and He gave me questions I never thought I'd have to answer.
I asked for peace and He gave me a classroom full of beautiful chaos.
I asked to make a difference and He placed me exactly where every small breakthrough matters.
And then one day, I realize… the classroom I prayed for became a classroom others were encouraged to learn from. 🥹
Recently, during classroom walkthroughs, my classroom was recognized as a strong example of the expectations outlined in our Model Classroom Checklist and was recommended as a classroom for colleagues to visit, observe effective practices, and gather ideas for their own classroom preparation.
To be recognized as a model classroom is an achievement I am incredibly grateful for, not because a perfect classroom exists, but because every detail represents countless hours of planning, learning, creating, adjusting, advocating, and showing up for my students. 💚
The assessments were posted without revealing student information, routines and supports were intentionally prepared, and every corner of the room was designed with my students’ learning and independence in mind.
This is your reminder, teacher:
The hard days are not wasted.
The late nights are not wasted.
The questions are not wasted.
The moments when you wonder if you’re doing enough, they are not wasted.
Sometimes, God answers your prayer by placing you in a classroom.
And sometimes, that classroom becomes the very place where He shows you why He chose you. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Still learning. Still growing. Still becoming. But grateful to be a 5-Star teacher. 🌟💚
