**Reading Is Fun Week – “Read More, Know More”**
**Agape Total Life Academy**
As we come to the end of our Reading Is Fun Week celebration under the theme **“Read More, Know More,”** we take a moment to reflect on the wonderful experiences, learning opportunities, and joyful memories we have shared together.
This week has reminded us that reading is more than just recognizing words on a page. Reading opens doors to new adventures, expands our imagination, builds our knowledge, and helps us discover the world around us. At Agape Total Life Academy, we believe that when children develop a love for reading, they are building a strong foundation for lifelong learning and success.
We would like to extend a special and heartfelt thank-you to the **BVI Literary Festival and Book Fair’s** ***Big Read Road Show*** for being a part of our Reading Is Fun Week celebration. Thank you for promoting literacy, encouraging a love for books, and inspiring our young learners to discover the joy and power of reading.
We also wish to recognize and thank the **East End Public Library** for its contribution through **“Books Come Alive.”** Thank you for helping to bring stories to life and showing our children that books are not simply pages filled with words, but gateways to adventure, creativity, imagination, and discovery. Your involvement helps nurture a love of reading that can last a lifetime.
Our sincere appreciation also goes to the wonderful team of volunteers from **H. Lavity Stoutt Community College (HLSCC)** and their partner, **OGIER**. Thank you for giving your time, sharing your talents, and supporting our students and school community. Your participation demonstrates the importance of collaboration in nurturing a generation of confident readers and lifelong learners.
To all our **parent volunteers**, we say a big and heartfelt thank you! Thank you for giving your time, offering your support, and working alongside us to make this week a success. Your involvement means so much to our school community, and we appreciate your continued partnership in helping our children learn, grow, and shine. Indeed, it takes a village to raise and educate a child, and we are thankful to have you as part of ours.
We would also like to recognize and congratulate our **first runner-up in the Prince and Princess Contest, Sariah Smith**. Congratulations, Sariah! We celebrate your participation, confidence, and the wonderful effort you displayed. We are proud of you!
A special congratulations and thank-you also go to **Gabriella Watson**, one of the Prince and Princess Contestant participants, Gabriella, we applaud you for taking part in this special experience. Remember, every opportunity to participate is an opportunity to learn, grow, and become more confident. Keep shining!
To our dedicated teachers, students, parents, volunteers, the BVI Literary Festival and Book Fair’s Big Read Road Show team, the East End Public Library, HLSCC volunteers, OGIER, and everyone who contributed to this celebration, **thank you for helping to make Reading Is Fun Week a memorable success at Agape Total Life Academy.** Your support and enthusiasm have truly brought our theme, “Read More, Know More,” to life.
As we close this celebration, let us remember that reading should not end when Reading Is Fun Week ends. Let us continue to encourage our children to pick up a book, explore new stories, ask questions, and use their imaginations. Let us make reading a daily habit at school and at home, because the more we read, the more we learn, and the more we know, the more we grow!
May we continue working together to inspire our children, strengthen our community, and build a brighter future through literacy.
