PBIM GOLDEN HAWK AWARD – STUDENT OF THE MONTH! 💛💜

We may be a little late, but we’re still celebrating our September Golden Hawks! 🌟🏆 Even though it’s October, we’re shining the spotlight on our students for showing respect, making positive choices and consistently displaying positive behaviour. Keep soaring high, Hawks! Your positive choices make us proud! 🏆🎉

Well, well, well! 👀 Look who came ready to REPRESENT! Our HAWKS fathers showed up in numbers for our Sr. Ultimate Hawk Run and let’s just say… THE HOUSE PRIDE WAS PRIDING! 🤣🙌🏽

❤️ RED TAILS! 💙 OSPREYS! 💚 SHARPSHINS!

Now, we have a few questions! 🤔🤣
* Who recruited these dads? Because the turnout was giving CHAMPIONSHIP FINALS! 🥇😂
* Are we sure they came to support the children, or are they secretly competing for bragging rights? 👀🏃🏽‍♂️
* Should we start warming up for a Fathers’ Race? Because some of these dads look READY! 😭🤣🔥

A BIG HAWKS shout-out to all our amazing fathers who came out, showed up and showed out! ❤️👏🏽 Your support remind us that it takes a village to raise champions and our HAWKS village is STRONG! 💜💛🩶

And MOTHERS, don’t think we’ve forgotten about you! We see you, we appreciate you and we know the HAWKS spirit runs deep in you too! 💪🏽🥰

Let the friendly rivalry begin and may the best house take the bragging rights! 🏆🎉

We don’t do it any other except the HAWKS way! 💜💛🩶

WE’RE HAWKS AT HEART, WITH WARRIOR SPIRIT! 🔴❤️

Thursday was a RED-iculously good day!

❤️Our staff rocked their RED in support of those who live with dyslexia, spreading awareness and celebrating the amazing minds that make us all unique! 🧠📚✨

Our wonderful Admin team made the day even SWEETER by treating the staff to some RED treats! 🍎🍓🍬 Because our staff deserve a little extra sweetness for all the heart they pour into our school every day! ❤️

RED outfits , RED treats, BIG hearts, and WARRIOR PRIDE! 🔴❤️

As we reflect on the wonderful moments from our Reading Is Fun Week celebration, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Public Library Service for the kind invitation to be a part of this special initiative.

A huge thank-you goes out to all the parents, special guests and visitors who took the time to stop by and read to our students.

We also extend a special thank-you to our dedicated committee of teachers who worked hard to plan and organize our in-house activities. Your efforts truly made a difference! 👏🏽

Fostering a love for reading is a beautiful journey best taken together — school, home and community. Thank you to everyone who played a part in making this celebration a success!

The HAWKS Nest appreciates you! 💛🩶💜

WELCOME TO THE HAWKS STORYBOOK SERIES! ✨📚

Who said teachers only come to school to teach? 😂👀 At the HAWKS Nest, our teachers were ready to turn the pages, bring the characters to life and sprinkle a little extra magic! 🪄🎭

So, turn the page, strike a pose and let the HAWKS Storybook Series begin! 🎬📚

Because when it comes to showing up for our students, our teachers understood the assignment! 😂👏🏽

We’re excited to continue sharing highlights from our Round Table Book Series!

✨ We’re excited to bring our Round Table Book Series to life! ✨📚

Today, we are thrilled to celebrate our featured author, Dr. Patricia Turnbull, and the wonderful opportunity for our students to connect, engage and learn through the power of books and meaningful conversation.

A special THANK YOU to Xiala Faulkner, Matthew Wilson, and Kayziia Bass for initiating these important conversations and helping to create opportunities for our students to connect, engage, ask questions and learn through the power of literature. 📖

This is what learning is all about—creating connections, opening minds, and giving young people a voice in meaningful conversations. ✨

📚🔍 MYSTERY READER REVEAL! 🔍📚

The children were all excited and ready for their Mystery Reader… but there was a little twist! 👀

IT WAS THEIR TEACHERS! 😂👏

Clearly, the teachers thought swapping classes would be a sneaky way to keep everyone guessing… and judging by those faces, they definitely succeeded! 🤣

A little classroom switcheroo, a lot of laughs and some very happy readers. 📚

Mystery solved! 🕵️‍♀️🔎

Dear teachers,

Over the years, I have come to realize that when we embrace an attitude of gratitude, we create even more opportunities to recognize and appreciate the blessings around us.

Today, I am truly grateful to be surrounded by such an amazing team of teachers and support personnel. Day after day, you rise to every challenge, meet expectations and give your very best to our students and our school.

Sometimes, you may not see the impact right away, but those small moments of encouragement and care can stay with a child for a lifetime. For that, I am truly grateful for each of you and the difference you make every day.

May your passion for teaching continue to inspire and brighten the lives of countless students.

Wishing each of you a wonderful and well-deserved World Teachers’ Day! 💜🩶💛

With heartfelt gratitude,
Ms. Rhymer
