🌟 Career Day at BFEC Primary 🌟
BFEC Primary was proud to host an inspiring and engaging Career Day, led by our dedicated School Counsellor, Denesia Paul. Students had the wonderful opportunity to explore different career paths and learn firsthand from our dynamic guest speakers.

A special thank you to:
⚓ Captain Rochelle Lawrence of Brew Coffee Shops of the VI, who shared her entrepreneurial journey and emphasized the value of passion, creativity, and perseverance.

🌿 Niklous Kahnai, Environmentalist of Green VI, who enlightened students on sustainability, environmental careers, and the importance of protecting our natural resources.

🚑🔥 We also extend our sincere appreciation to our Emergency Services teams, who provided exciting and informative demonstrations featuring the ambulance and fire services. Students were thrilled to learn about these vital careers and the important role first responders play in keeping our community safe.

Our students were motivated, curious, and fully engaged throughout the day. Events like these continue to broaden their horizons and inspire them to dream big about their future careers!

✨ MATH MADNESS WEEK RECAP ✨

What an exciting week at Bregado Flax Educational Centre - Primary! 🎪📚

Students enjoyed engaging in Math Madness activities that promoted teamwork, creativity, confidence, and problem-solving skills. From interactive games and classroom displays to educational experiences and carnival fun, the week was filled with learning and laughter! Students also had the opportunity to visit nearby establishments to observe and engage in real-life applications of money.

Students were also inspired by a motivational speech delivered by Mrs. O’Neal-George on the importance of Mathematics and how it helps us in everyday life and future careers. 🌟

Today, we pause to honour the life and legacy of Mrs. Shirley M. Levons, former Principal of the Bregado Flax Educational Centre, Primary Division.

While we are saddened by this loss to our school and the wider Virgin Gorda community, we are also deeply grateful for the impactful and stellar legacy she leaves behind. Many of us are privileged to serve in education today because of the strong foundation she helped establish.

Her remarkable career spanned approximately 44 years, and its impact continues to be felt in the hearts and lives of countless students and educators.

We extend our sincerest condolences to her family during this time.

Her light and legacy live on in every LION 🦁. ✨
