Yesterday morning, our teachers were treated to a scrumptious breakfast by our administration as part of Teacher Appreciation Week! 🥐🍳🍓☕️

It was more than just a delicious meal—it was a beautiful opportunity to pause, fellowship, laugh, and enjoy some much-needed camaraderie with our colleagues. 💙

A heartfelt THANK YOU to our administration for taking the time to celebrate and appreciate the incredible teachers who pour into our students each and every day. Your thoughtfulness and support are truly a blessing! 🙏🏽

🏆✨ SEPTEMBER ENDED WITH A CELEBRATION! ✨🏆

September was an awesome start to the new school year, and we wrapped up the month with our much-anticipated Annual Award Ceremony on September 25! 🎉

Our students were recognized for exemplary academic performance and outstanding character during the 2025–2026 academic year. 📚🌟

And what better way to celebrate than with these smiling faces! 😊🏆

Parents & Guardians, we’re kicking off the new school year together!
The BVI Seventh-day Adventist School HASA Committee warmly invites all parents and guardians to our FIRST HASA Meeting for the 2026–2027 school year on Thursday, October 8 at 5:30 PM in the BVISDA School Auditorium.
This is your opportunity to get informed, get involved and have your voice heard! We’ll be discussing upcoming HASA activities and initiatives, opportunities for parent participation, and important matters affecting our students and school community.
We’re also pleased to welcome Mrs. Tarriesha Dawson, School Counselor, who will speak on the important topic of Anti-Bullying – “Break the Silence.”

😊 Our Lower Life Skills Club joined in our school’s Healthy Week today with a practical activity—preparing healthy snacks! A delicious way to build everyday skills and learn about healthy choices. 💚👩🏽‍🍳

🍎🍉🍍 FRUIT DAY! 🍓🍊🍌

Health Week continued today with a delicious reminder to eat more fruits and make healthy choices! 💚

Our students enjoyed bringing and sharing their favourite fruits throughout the day. Form 1 SC got creative at their Mix & Match Fruit Station, combining their favourite fruits to create their own colourful fruit salads. And yes… condensed milk was available as a topping for those who wanted a little extra sweetness! 😋

Our Class 3 students were also excited to show off their healthy fruit snacks! 🍇🍎

A huge THANK YOU to our parents for partnering with us and helping to promote healthy habits and healthy bodies in our students. 💚

🔬🧪 SCIENCE COMES ALIVE IN GRADE 6! 🧪🔬

Who says learning science has to happen only in a textbook? 👀

Our Grade 6 students were learning by doing in the science lab! They explored density through a floating egg experiment 🥚💧 and investigated chemical reactions by combining vinegar and baking soda to produce gas! 🫧

From making predictions to observing reactions, our students got to experiment, explore, and discover—just like real scientists! 👩🏽‍🔬👨🏽‍🔬

💚🌿 HEALTH WEEK 2026 IS OFFICIALLY UNDERWAY! 🌿💚

We kicked off Health Week with a powerful General Assembly focused on mental health and mindfulness.

Our students were challenged by Elder Pete Smith of Carrot Bay SDA Church and BVI motivational speaker to be more mindful of their thoughts, emotions, choices, and overall well-being. 🧠💚

And this is just the beginning! 🎉
