VenTESOL VenTESOL is a non-profit organization whose mission is to develop expertise in English teaching and It's the biggest event for the year.

VenTESOL's mission is to develop expertise in English teaching and learning in Venezuela. Its main objectives are to:

• Promote the ELT issues studies
• Strengthen the English language teaching and learning at all educational levels in Venezuela
• Promote and spread research works in the ELT area
• Work collaboratively with other teacher organizations with the same interests. VenTESOL exists thanks to volunteer work done by its members who are actively involved and committed to its mission. Such voluntarism is not easy as most members are full-time teachers, sometimes holding two jobs. As part of VenTESOL's professional development program, we organize events all over the country which is divided into seven different regions. Our annual national convention is a very successful event and it takes place in May and/or June. The annual VenTESOL National Convention brings together over 700 professionals from all over the country. We currently have eight Executive Board Members whom you can consult and contact for any additional information, they'll be more than glad to answer all your questions. State Representatives can also be contacted where there is one. We are always looking for volunteers to organize and deliver workshops under our sponsorship.

☕️✨ VenTESOL Cafés: Where English Teachers Connect

Over the last months of 2025, VenTESOL brought together pre-service and in-service English teachers in cafés across the country.
These meet-ups became spaces to connect, exchange best teaching practices, and open doors to job opportunities and classroom resources.

From inspiring conversations to practical ideas you can use the very next day in class, VenTESOL Cafés are all about community, growth, and collaboration in ELT.

📍 Teachers. Ideas. Opportunities.
📚 Real experiences. Real connections.

👉 The next round of VenTESOL Cafés is coming soon.

Stay tuned, follow us, and don’t miss your chance to be part of the conversation.
