Why is Physical Education so important? 📌
PE enhances motor skills and increases muscle strength and bone density, which in turn, helps students to engage in healthy activities outside of school. Furthermore, it improves students' learning aptitude, cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength, flexibility, mobility, and body composition. Students also benefit from PE by gaining agility, reaction time, balance, speed and coordination using all senses. ⛹️🤸🏃
PE also helps students' personal and social development. They work individually and in teams, developing concepts of fairness and personal and social responsibility. They take on different roles and responsibilities, including leadership, coaching and officiating. Through the range of experiences PE offers, they learn how to be effective in competitive, creative and challenging situations. 🦸🥇📈

Why is learning numbers important? 1️⃣2️⃣3️⃣
Strong number sense helps build a foundation for mathematical understanding. Focusing on number sense in the younger grades helps build the foundation necessary to compute and solve more complex problems in older grades. 💡🧮
Building a love for maths in young children begins with building an understanding of numbers. 📌🔢
