EL PENSAMIENTO CINEMATOGRÁFICO VENEZOLANO DURANTE EL SIGLO XX: LA CRÍTICA DE CINE EN LAS REVISTAS ESPECIALIZADAS ENTRE 1950 Y 2000
En el área del cine y su relación con otros medios, el estudio de las revistas especializadas y la crítica cinematográfica en general es fundamental. No solo porque tales publicaciones constituyen documentos históricos, sino porque a través de ellas se expresan las concepciones acerca del quehacer cinematográfico desde una perspectiva cultural, ética y estética. Tales concepciones constituyen lo que se denomina como “pensamiento cinematográfico”. El proyecto de investigación grupal "El pensamiento cinematográfico venezolano durante el siglo XX: la crítica de cine en las revistas especializadas entre 1950 y 2000", tiene como objetivo general la captura, estructuración, documentación, preservación y difusión de revistas venezolanas sobre cine de difícil acceso para los investigadores tanto venezolanos como internacionales: Venezuela Cine, Registro, Cine al Día, Encuadre y Cine-oja.
